5.0 out of 5 starsAnother fantastic book in another great series by Hope Hart

It’s true that many genre books in run in a series are very cookie cutter. This series is NOT. Each of the books in the series are about unique couples in an un-unique world. Hope fleshes our her characters well with very distinct personalities and challenges, and she is kind enough to keep the circle open, allowing other established characters to interact and be part of the story, making it all feel whole and true to the world she has built. While the storyline has plenty of hills and valleys of emotion, it continually feels warm with interaction and and the ending comes way before you want it to. I recommend this series and Hope Hart if you are looking for another great read...well written, well edited, with great world building and of course HEA plots.
5.0 out of 5 starsProbably my favorite of this great series

Of all the volumes, I enjoyed this one the most. The themes of familial expectations, sacrifice, acceptance, and healing, all meld together really well here.
I really like the lead female characters. Each are imperfect, but also gain maturity as they grow. None are TSTL virginal types, as each bring their issues along their learning journey. In this story, Zoey, who was a nurse (or healer on this planet) has to heal herself both physically and emotionally.
The H, Targiz, makes his own similar journey. Like most of the H characters in Ms. Hart's stories, he grows into his better self.
Zoey and Tagiz may be my favorite couple yet. Both have reasons to deny their obvious attraction and both need to become who they were meant to be. Zoey is a very strong woman and Tagiz is a gentle alpha. While you can read this as a standalone, it will be more enjoyable if you read the books in order.
I've now completed all her books that I can find and am hungry for more!!! These books make me feel the characters' feelings, their questions and torments and the hope that they find. Your plots are engrossing and the romance between the characters is not only personal, intimate and hot but caring and real. Several times while reading your books, I have paused and applied some of your caring and kind wisdom to my own life. You are now my favorite writer!
5.0 out of 5 starsHow can the book continue to get even better♡

Wow Hope Hart has done it yet again. I could go on and on with her character building and the amazing journey you can feel, touch, and taste.. She is one of my all time favorite authors and I can't wait to read Vivian s story.
All through this series we having been praying for Zoey. Her story is finally told and how her love for her rescuer grew. A beautiful heart wrenching story with a passionate ending. You are the best Hope!!
Quality writing with detailed world building. The story has grown over the series always leaving you with something new to look forward to next time. Charming romance full of individuality and support. Well worth the time and the space on your kindle.

Finally we get to hear Zoey's story and it is definitely worth the wait. I've loved all the stories in this series so far but I think this might just be my favourite. We first meet Zoey properly in Beth's story when she is finally rescued by Tegiz, Nevarda and a group of Braxian warriors searching for the missing women. When she is rescued she is in a bad way and taken back to camp to recover. This is her story; how she and Tagiz are perfect for each other but can't be together as he is promised to another in an 'arranged mating' to please his parents. I love that as always there is a HEA and that in order to have a future, you sometimes have to let go of the past; something both characters eventually learn. A great story, worthy of 5*+

This story reminds us that our past fears can influence our present and destroy our future if we let it. But it also reminds us that true love never dies and wins through in the end. You just have to give it a chance. Lovely story. 😍
