I love these books. This book is a little different from the others in the series and it is just as wonderful. Two hearts battle for what they want but don't think they should find in each other. Wonderful characters, wonderful story line and a fun, fun read.
Sometimes not forgiving others or yourself can effect how you act or react. Be yourself and let others see you for who you are. Great example of don't run, be yourself, and let God work in your life. He loves and forgives.

I didn't finish this book. A key subject in the book is looking for a man with a certain astrological sign. As a Christian, I don't believe in astrology so didn't finish the book as this is supposed to be from a Christian author.
I love the Three Rivers Ranch series and have enjoyed most of the books in it! This one had a few distractions that made it harder to read. There were editing problems - very uncharacteristic of other books I've read by Isaacson. I also thought the focus of the astrological sign in Navy and Gavin's relationship took away from the Christian aspect that I have grown to love in the previous stories in the series. I enjoyed the storyline and that Gavin was 40 yrs old with a salt and pepper beard (the cover is another distraction -though I know it's hard to find people that represent the characters...but still!). I can look past these things, but this book seems to fall below the quality I've grown used to and expect from Isaacson.
Fifteen minutes of fame is how the town of Three Rivers treated Gavin after he jumped on the run away horse that Navy was on. He got the horse to stop and everyone he met would congratulate him for being a hero. It turns out he became the hero to Navy as she finally found her true love in Gavin and he found the woman he felt truly would complete his life. They now had their ranch in Springville which completed both of their dreams of not settling for Three Rivers. They both had the dream of settling down and having a family while living their life out on the beautiful ranch they loved and so all they needed was for the wedding day to finally happen and Gavin and Navy be joined together so they could take their marriage as far as they could in their life on Dripping Springs Ranch.
