Wow, finally Shane Ryan is back in what I hope is an entire series with him as the lead. You never get tired of this guy. He is everyone's hero. When a former marine and love interest contacts him for his assistance, it's too late for him to save her but he will not be satisfied or deterred until he kills whomever is responsible. The killers are ruthless and have no emotional feelings for how brutal they kill their victims. He seeks the help of ghosts to help him locate the killer and his henchman ghost but many are scared but one is not. Once Shane gets on their trail, it's only a matter of time before he finds them and enacts his revenge.

As usual Shane is never far from trouble and Ron Ripley weaves an enthralling and gripping tale as only he can. The ending is absolutely superb and I wanted to immediately read the follow up.

The only gripe I have is that I'll have to wait for it😢.

I enjoy pretty much everything Ron Ripley writes but I adore anything with the damaged, enigmatic Mr Ryan in it and this is no exception.
A good strong plot, dozens of well drawn minor charcters and enough humour to stop anything getting too intense where it doesn't mean to be.
