I loved the start of this series so much! I laughed way more than I expected because of Sterling and the scenes with the winning competitors, especially Dax, had me flipping pages like crazy. I can't wait to find out what happens next with Lyric. The ending was a doozy!

3.0 out of 5 stars Premise is good, but not enough plot

The premise is good but not enough plot. I will read the next one to hopefully see more plot unfold and that the heroine will actually win sometimes instead of always losing. I thought she would win at least once, but she doesn’t despite her intense training etc.

Lots of people betray her too.

Anyways I will read the next one to see if it improves

3.0 out of 5 stars Unsure...

I couldn't give this book 5 stars, not because it's not well written but because it's too slow. I personally feel that a woman who was raised in our mortal world might be able to except 4 mates but would never allow anyone else to choose those mates for you. That has sort of spoiled this series for me. It lost a star for the cliffhanger ending too.

4.0 out of 5 stars An interesting take on the alpha and omega stories

I liked this story with the unexpected twists in the plot. The females are in charge in this werewolf world, but they are not doing a good job as a whole. Then the heroine gets thrown into this world, with no preparation and have to navigate a world that is not only filled with werewolves and magic, but has a twisted view on equality. A good read!

3.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected

This is a decent shifter RH but I believe the blurb is completely misleading. I thought I was getting a strong FMC who would fight to win these games. The real story is a girl who gives in after a day. Anytime she disagrees or has a legitimate issue, the guys just get naked and she’s magically ok with anything they want. She doesn’t win the games at all (though they are still going on at the book end, so maybe next time if she continues cheating). She’s not trying to make the guys lose - it’s basically insta-love with 4 of them. She’s put forward as a tough fighter but constantly loses fights and is getting rescued by the males. I think it’s not a bad story if you like that type of FMC but it’s just not what the blurb makes you think it’s going to be and that really made me disappointed.
