I have to say that I also loved this book...short and totally satisfying. As others, and the story description, tell us Elizabeth goes missing when Lady Catherine sends her out of the parlor to the library. Rosings is searched...nothing! Darcy goes back to the library to begin over and notices something which might be a clue. But this leads to two, not one, people being trapped where no one realizes that there is a place in which to be trapped!
The author does not spare our eyes in writing for us even the bodily consequences of two bodies sealed in a small space and the fact that all humans are imperfect is further proven. Imagine... darkness...slithery creatures...too much tea and discussions of topics assumed to be true.
This short story for busy readers condenses the time it takes for our couple to come to know each other much better and to unravel previous false opinions.
You know, you do have to read this. What's your excuse...not enough time...not good enough. Its short, its sweet and it does have a happy ending.
