Blending some of the real, practical advice of Stoicism with a touch of the Bushido spirit and what is, under the hood, a savvy mixture of several different philosophical approaches, all to create one central idea: You CAN and you WILL get through what you're doing--you can not just survive, but actually thrive.
This is one hell of a book for a time of adversity. I don't mind saying that I'd compare it to the work of Allan Watts or Mark Moran any day of the week. It's a hell-for-leather, ballsy, powerful set of ideas which recharged, energized, and inspired me, with the conceptual and practical chops to give me tools to go conquer the next work.
Kudos to the author; and joy for me, because I can't wait to read what he writes next!
