5.0 out of 5 stars The hits keep coming for James. The helicopter he, Cassis, Lucas,Cindy, Duke & the General crashes.

Just when you think it can’t get any worse it does. James, Lucas, the General, Cassie, Cindy & Duke are the only one to escape the research facility all the other good guys are dead and they escape in a helicopter. The helicopter crashes and when James comes to, he is the only one there. He finds a man named Bill who used to be part of an anti-military group called the Hive. He tells James they have taken everyone. They want to use Cindy, the General and the data the research facility got on Cindy for leverage with the military. Bill takes him to the first place he knows as a hideout for the Hive. All they find is Lucas who has been bitten, but hasn’t turned yet. He begs for James to kill him, which he does while he tells Bill he still has a soul. Now there in nothing but action, chasers, twists and turns but you have to read the rest to see who is still alive and where they are going next.

Loved the fast pace non stop action. If you like to read about Great Characters, zombies and non stop action then this author is for you! I highly recommend this series. Thank you for keeping the crew alive and glad to see them all reunited. Duke is awesome. I hate to see this series end. Maybe down the road we could get a follow up book and we could find out more about Cindy and her being immune. Is her brother immune also? Congratulations on a series well done. I can’t wait for your next series!

James is in a bad way as soon as you turn to the first page. This book starts out with action and barely lets up throughout the story. The zombies are becoming smarter and even more formidable. As if that wasn't enough, James and Duke also have to face down living adversaries to save his sister. Pressed in on all sides, James has to make some difficult choices, or risk losing his sister forever.

I chose this rating because I really enjoyed this series. I will probably read the other series from this author. The characters all came to life in this long, crazy story. You will not regret reading this series!
