4.0 out of 5 starsHad to see where Mike was headed

The concept of a former CIA agent working with a former NSA employee to protect victims that might not get police help (or get it too late), interested me. I enjoyed the first set of The Silencer books, overlooking some minor editing issues. I was also able to overlook the detailed violence because I liked the characters. In the second set, the editing issues continued. Mike and his new partner stake out an apartment. Mike goes in, Haley stays outside. He then contacts Haley who immediately goes to him. A sentence or two later it takes Haley 30 minutes to arrive. Grammar is also sometimes painful. Like the sentence that begins "Her and her friend..." (or something to that effect). My HS English teacher taught me it should be "She and her..." All that said, I'll probably get the 3rd set of books in the near future.
Entertaining, but aggravating. Spoiler alert... in POINT BLANK.... although they were given the names of several nightclubs that Vincent frequented, Jones and the others spent over 2 weeks scanning videos from over 200 nightclubs looking for Jeremiah. Why? Did Ryan forget what he had written?
