Usually I know immediately if a book is everything I hoped for. In this case, the first book was Ok which lead me to #2 and that is where I wanted to close it and abandon it! The characters were supposed to be grown up but acting like teenagers. The author brought everything she had from magic to vampires to reincarnation to special powers.... Really? The main girl, Rachel (Rae) goes into everything unprepared and her plans (if any) are half baked and she finds herself in a pickle every time and suddenly, we are supposed to believe that she finds a way to win or succeed! It was a big waste of time.
An amazing collection. I loved being able to continue reading the story without having to wait for the next book. There was action , adventure, family, love and of course loss .

I thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series. The female characters were well developed. I must admit that I love stories with strong, take charge women taking care of themselves and those that they care about.
I enjoyed reading this story and it was good to be able to read the complete story. If you like witches, shapeshifter and Vampires story's you will enjoy this.
Liked the books, in spite of the monotone narrator (audio book), which made the story feel clumsy and at times, dull. Reading the text version of the books, was better, but not amazing. Reminiscent of the writing of a very young teenager, lacking some of the maturity of many other authors of the genre. Still, to some degree, an enjoyable read.
