5.0 out of 5 stars Becoming a part of the future on Earth – ‘The Great Awakening has come’

Author Jamal Abdul Wajid Hassan Khan is a man of significant life experiences. His background includes metaphysics, healing, spirituality and new age concepts, while his employment has ranged from Field Service Engineer to stand up comedian and a voice over actor for film, television, narration and commercials! Drawing on his commitment as a humanitarian and environmentalist and his gifts as a speaker, healer and teacher, Wajid turns his writing skills to produce this inspiring guide for spiritual growth.

Setting the tone of this direct communication with the reader, he opens this book with the following: ‘The law of karma, or the law of God, or the Divine is absolutely fair and just. Nothing lives outside of the framework of this all encompassing law. The master Jesus stated that “As you sow, so shall you reap.” The Lord Buddha stated, long before Newton did, that “action and reaction are opposite and equal.” This is the law…I don’t have to point out to you what is currently happening around the world because it’s obvious…that we are heading for a world calamity caused by endless wars. pollution, over population, and hatred between race and religions….The Struggle For World Sanity lies in our hands and can only be accomplished by striving hard in many spiritual ways to make a difference…’

With this challenge, the author shares his own journey from his birth in Pakistan to his move to England and eventually his home in the US. Along this route he experienced trauma, racism, and other factors that would mold his refreshing entry in the world of spiritualism under the guidance of Dr. George King, ‘a highly evolved teacher who was from another place and another time.’

Why is it so important to share his life experiences? Because they lead us to an understanding of all the possibilities for incorporating personal spiritual growth and then applying that spiritual growth to enhancement of life on this planet - ‘Just inhabited land and sea by a unified race of spiritually evolved people who will live in complete harmony with out Mother Earth and each other.’

This inspirational book closes with the author’s poem, an extract of which follows:
Humanity! Humanity! A new age is coming.
Where peace will prevail and harps will be strumming.
Clear waters, blue skies, pollution all gone.
No fears, no worries, no hydrogen bomb,
Humanity! Humanity! Mother Earth is to be reborn.
An era of love, cooperation, a brand new dawn.

Jamal Abdul Wajid Hassan Khan offers hope in a time when hope has seems gone. This book is highly recommended for all of us. Grady Harp, August 20

5.0 out of 5 stars A book before its time

This beautiful man has lived many lifetimes in his life. There are so many treasures in this book, one reading only left me realizing I had to read it again: To study it, to allow its riches and wisdoms to come into me...to become me.

Like many teachings, it takes a special person to appreciate ideas that perhaps land on pages before their time. I feel this might be one of these books. Luckily, there are many special people nearby. Splendid work. Wajid, thank you for sharing your light with us.

2.0 out of 5 stars A retreat from reason

One of my pet peeves is the retreat from reason. We have things like the flat earth believers, and no, the earth is not flat. There were two good things about this book: it was short and it was cheap. The title was intriguing, so with strong feelings of reservation, I bought it. Just because it is spiritual, I thought, does not mean it has no value. It starts reasonably as the author discusses his boyhood and early life. He sees a UFO early in the book. Who am I to argue with that? But then things start to go wrong, at least in terms of staying within reason. He goes to Stonehenge in the middle of a night and sees a UFO do some remarkable manoeuvres, but nobody else does. Then a year later he returns. No UFOs, but he sees gargoyles on top of the monument before he is moved on by an official. If there were really strange things there, wouldn't he point them out, and wouldn't the official see them? It gets worse. He becomes deeply spiritual. Nothing wrong there, except he sees all the major prophets bar one. UFOs continue. The star of Bethlehem was a major space ship from the inhabitants of Saturn. Presumably he has no idea what Saturn is. Apparently all people descended from aliens from a planet Maldek (in our solar system) that the inhabitants destroyed completely 18 million years ago. Has he no idea about the law of conservation of mass, and how difficult it would be to actually destroy a planet? He does write reasonably well and there is the odd piece of good advice there, but really if you have any concept of logic and analysis of evidence, leave this book well alone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Unique Read

The Struggle for World Sanity! is quite a unique read I must say. I think the author's objective when writing this book is to help the readers realize the extent of the possibilities if we all live in harmony with the earth's natural gifts. The interesting synopsis piqued my interest, though, as I read through this, I actually hoped that the author made this book as a work of fiction instead of nonfiction. I agree with some parts of what he said in the book but there are some parts that seem to be quite doubtful and unbelievable for me. Overall, it was a great experience reading this book and I can see myself rereading this sometime in the future.

If God actually Is the Ultimate Simple, this simple book is pure Divinity. Children will have no problem reading it and understanding it. Nor will their parents, or their Grandparents!
We could all rise together. How simple is that?

3.0 out of 5 stars Good try that misfired.

I feel like this might have benefited from being presented as a work of fiction and perhaps a really good ghostwriter who has experience with writing about the fantastical. Don't get me wrong, some of the concepts would have worked in a fantasy story. But gargoyles and UFOs that only he can see? Unlikely, unless he has a history of hallucinations. The author does have some raw talent at writing, but might want to rethink the categories that he put this book in.

The metaphysical truths in this cute little book definitely struck a cord in me. The author certainly does not mix his words and he lays it out black and white. The concepts in this book: you’re either going to get it or you’re not. It has some great references for those who want to know more. Definitely a good read for the metaphysical student and those who want to help Mankind and the world as whole.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fascinating memoir of a most unusual figure

Before I place here a few quick comments about this book, a Disclosure: One day back in the late 1970s, when I was passing my 6th form days at the renowned Latymer School, London, a young chap with unusual demeanour, and Northern accent came bursting into our school. Even back then, Wajid showed signs of his comic, acting aura blended with a passion for jumping into many mystical schools of thought. In one of our debate sessions, he tried to describe the inner workings of a huge flying saucer. Even then.

The Book: Moving on to the present, Wajid is in LA, and nudged me about this book. My initial thoughts: this book's tone retains much of that young exuberant character and passion for life behind the ordinary veil of illusion. If you have the slightest interest in answering the deeper questions of life: who we are, why we are here, what should we be doing? And so on…this book is must-read.

Framed as a memoir, Wajid talks about his experiences with looking and acting with Truth. As another disclosure, I must reveal that I have met the person he talks about many times - and can attest to the compassion, wisdom and radiant aura of Dr George King. Such was his presence, he could not hide many of the qualities described in the ancient tomes of the qualities of true masters. I could say more but this is Wajid’s story:

You will find explanations here of Wajid’s deeper beliefs and timeless truths; beyond even these, I found his generous sharing of personal spiritual experiences fascinating - especially told in his direct, colourful, informal and humorous style. Some things don’t change!
