I feel as though I have been waiting forever for this next book in the series and I just read it in one sitting and now I have to wait for the next one and this is a run on sentence and I don’t even care. Ok. I am an adult and I will do adult things (like sulk and sigh heavily and be all moody) until the next book is available. No pressure on the author. (Please hurry!)
The fifth book in the Magic Market series is just as much fun as the earlier installments. The puzzle is complex enough to keep the reader focused, but nothing so intense as to make anyone squirm. The characters are revealing themselves and their relationships are getting more interesting.
I LOVE these characters!! The world building is top notch! The mysteries are fun and engaging. This is one of my favorite series of all time. I read the books in no particular order and while I wish I read them in order, I never got lost or confused. That was really important in my enjoyment of the books!! Highly recommended.
I have loved all the books I have read by this author, and this one is no different! I loved watching Jolene and Peter work together and be forced to confront the issues within their relationship! I loved the humor and the mystery. It was well written, and fun to figure out! I can’t wait to read the next one!

Peter and Jolene, well… there is a distance between them. And that’s so heartbreaking! But they are forced to work together when someone is murdered on stage and a pig is a witness. A lot of lies in this book… and there are some twists and turns that blew me away! This book is one of my top favorites!
I read the book before this then several after this. I have wondered about several things and am glad to be able to fill in the blanks. Erin can sure tell an interesting tale and come up with many different ones as well. Well worth the read.
This is another fun story about Jolene, the pet “psychic”, Peter and Daisy. It has some interesting twists in the murder investigation that I won’t reveal here. Jolene also discovers more dark aspects of her own back story that clearly suggest more to come in future books.

Jolene continues to work with Peter the policeman and his Daisy the truth sniffing dog in spite of relationship issues to solve an imploding pyramid scheme crime. Can’t wait for the next one!
I enjoyed this series immensely Jolene is an owl shifter who has lost her magic but gained the ability to talk to any animal. Peter is a by the book police officer who works with Daisy a lie detecting German shepherd. These stories has the perfect mix of magic, mystery and humour.
I'm always so intrigued to see what happens to Jolene and see how her relationships keep developing. And this book did just that! The plot keeps thickening! I love the banter between her and Daisy.
