I loved everything about this book and can’t wait for part 2 to drop. Mr Sa’id Salaam is one of the best. While reading his books it’s like a motion picture playing in your head. I could feel Malice pain and his dissatisfaction and disappointment with his unit for betraying him. I need more of Murder’s background story because she has more to give and doesn’t realize quite yet how much she needs Malice because she has been living in her own little bubble.
Does it again!!! You think you know what's going to happen next and BOOM a whole different twist!!! Malice and Murder will have you looking for part two like someone who owes you money!! His penmanship is like your favorite roller coaster you know what to expect but it's like riding for the first time every time! I ONLY gave this book 4 stars because I need part two ASAP!!!! Sa'id Salaam writes books meant for the big screen!!!
I could not put this book down. My vision was blurry from constantly reading without a break. So much going on, fast paced and so many emotions it brings out in the reader. While I read this book, so many times I gasped, or said out loud "Oh my god" or said "Oh no, are you kidding me"? I laughed, and I cried. I don't think I've ever read a book that brought me into the story as if I were there, and I was seeing it first hand as much as this book did. Giving it only 5 ⭐️ Doesn’t seem like enough. Can’t wait for Cops & Robbers 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
This Author doesn't half step when it comes to penning a story. It will keep you intrigued from beginning to end. The crooked and dirtiness that was going on would have Satan smiling. Sometimes it doesn't pay trying to do the right thing and Carl Jr found that out the hard way. I hate what happened to Carl Sr. It was sad. Everything Jr believed in went down the drain. Malice came out and I don't think he has no plans of going back in until Janine, Velez, Jose, Reagan and a few other's pay for what they have done. Alicia was a beast in the courtroom and definitely earned her moniker Murder. Dealing with Kenneth. She found out just how narcissistic and arrogance he was but also put her life in danger just for her doing her job. I'm looking forward to part two to see how Malice and Murder going to get out of the mess other's have created and blamed them for it and to see how Malice will come back for his revenge

I gave this a 5 star because it was a good story, but these characters dumb as a bag of rocks. Like NOTHING had to get as far as it did. They’re sitting on all this evidence and just doing stupid stuff, like Malice not wanting Alicia to handle his case because she made him lose a case and let a killer walk free. Ain’t nobody in the world that righteous that they would rather sit in jail than to have a lawyer the KNOW FOR SURE CAN GET THEM OFF. Nobody. Awe yea and I hate that Alicia was suppose to be this bad a$$ lawyer and she was made to be sleeping with someone and thinking about marrying him because he had money and was considered a “boss” so what she was a boss in her own right. That absolutely made me despise her character and see her as weak.
What can I say? This author never disappoints. His storytelling style is so unique. I love how he often seems to speak directly to the reader. Malice and Murder was a fast paced tale of a good cop who had bad things happen to him and a attorney who could defend Hitler and set him free. When things go sour for them both...read it for yourself. I can hardly wait for part 2. And kudos to the author for having a table of contents!
