4.0 out of 5 stars One of my favorites in this series...

Yes, I know this might be technically considered cheating, but I've read the series earlier this year and even though I'm only now catching up on my reviews - yes, shame on me, you're completely right - I didn't want to overlook it, therefore I decided to write at least a couple of lines.

So, if you see me using the same words to describe the majority of the books, you know the reason.

I loved all of these books and what I wrote at the time, for "Sniper" (book 1), applies to the entire collection: they books are short, sweet, sexy and steamy - "the perfect choice to add a little bit of steamy goodness and badassery to your day."

My favorites are "Rider" and this one.

There's no cliffhangers and all of they can be read as standalones, but they're a little bit like chips: there's no way you can stop at one.

2.0 out of 5 stars Get Out, Get Out, Get Out

Usually I like Hope Ford's short romances, but for me, Rancher was a huge fail. The insta-love felt forced, the severity of Rancher's injury felt like it was blown way out of proportion, and in this case Ford stepped over the line from sexy alpha male and into the "red alert potentially dangerous relationship" male. The end result was a story that made my stomach churn more with each scene. The entire time my brain was screaming at Nova to get out before she got hurt.

Rancher didn't turn me off Hope Ford books, but it has convinced me to stay away from the other books in this series.

2.0 out of 5 stars Name changed after started reading it

Ok, I'm not sure wth happened with this story. Originally when I bought it, the girl's name was Nova. Now it's Zoey but the passage where Rancher says "like the car" was not removed. I mean, the name changed right in the middle of me reading it (ok, I've read it several times on unlimited, but bought it yesterday and started reading it again today). What's up with that? You can't just replace someone's name without making sure there isn't a relative reference. No such thing as a Zoey car.

Another great book from Hope Ford. I was a little confused at first because the h from Rancher and the h from Tatts have the same name I believe. But nonetheless, plot was great.
