1.0 out of 5 starsThis is part one!

I was enjoying the story very much until suddenly it was the end and it tells me that the story continues in the next book. There is absolutely nothing resolved in it--only a set up for the continuing story of the two main characters, which I refuse to read---no matter how badly I would like to know how it finally comes out--I have a feeling that the second book will not finish them either. Too bad, because it could have been a good book.
That is the delima one young man had. He is in love with his cousin but she is not a cousin by blood. The intrigue continues as she loves another who is soon to be released from prison. The family is in turmoil over that alone. The book does leave you with a cliff hanger. Who will get the girl ? Perhaps the next book will reveal all that.

I have always loved her but she is supposed to be my cousin. I have to get over her. She is in love with someone who is not worthy of her, I have to move on. I am finally moving on and Doris is moving on. We will be happy?
This book was better than some Amish themed books I've read lately but things were unsettled at the end, so I looked up sequels and there are two. I'm curious to see what happens but I think one more book should do it rather than two. Oh, well.
