5.0 out of 5 starsAwesome engaging action packed read

An interesting plot, and an excellent flow to the writing makes for a book you do not want to put down. A continuation from book one in this new adventure for Sam and Jake. The main characters are used as pawns by the Evil One to try to achieve world domination. The way the characters are so humble as they progress the challenges they encounter are refreshing. The magical beasts are so interesting and creative, I could never even have dreamed of inventing this interesting parallel world. There is sadness, humor, love, action and plenty of emotions to go around. I like how the characters have to trust, but they cannot really trust anyone, they had many hard choices to make along the way. There is much betrayal, selfish actions and things are not always what they seem. A clean and budding romance is building between Jake And Sam. This book has an ending to this adventure, but the story continues on. Engaging from begging to the very end in this action packed adventure. I am looking forward to reading more of this series. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.
5.0 out of 5 starsGuardian, The Quest is filled with fighting and action from the very beginning...

Jake and Samantha are attacked by a woman who slaps a silver band on Jake’s wrist. The woman tells Samantha that she must find Drasine and take her to the smugglers or the silver band on Jake’s wrist will explode and kill him. They only have a few short hours to find Drasine and then deliver her to the smugglers before Jake is no more.
On their journey to finding Drasine they will face lots of deranged creatures. Some of these creatures are evil but some are good but to be able to know the difference will be very hard. Samantha is told not to trust anyone for this reason. Samantha and Jake face off against numerous monsters along the way.
Guardian, The Quest is filled with fighting and action from the very beginning and will keep the pages turning wanting to know what kind of creature they will be fighting next like a crocle-lion, hyena, dragon, a cheetah lady just to mention a few. I mean wow just the magical beast themselves is enough to keep the pages turning and the excitement racing.
The world building is just fantastically amazing all by itself with all the magical beast and deranged creatures. Reading Guardian, The Quest is like seeing a movie playing out in your head trying to picture all those magical beast and the fighting. I would have to agree with others to see all those magical beast, the characters and their staffs on the big screen would be so awesome.
If you like fantasy with lots of magical beast and lots of fighting then you are going to love Guardian, The Quest.

Sam and Jake were attacked by two lesser while training. They are told that the band on his arm is a bomb. They are to go speak to someone. Turns out this lessor wants the guardians to go find Drasine and bring her back to him. They don't like that as they gave their words the dragons. With no choice but to go do what the guy wants to save Jake's life. They will be tested numerous times in the course of them trying to save Drasine. They will met several lessors that they think could be the Evil One. Sam is being told not to trust anyone. Things are no adding up and are more confusing then ever. It will take everyone to take out the Evil One, but Sam and Jake's life hang in the balance. Will Sam and Jake be able to save Drasine and take out the Evil One or will all be lost.
This is a very good second book to this series. You won't know who the evil one is until the last minute, that action and fast pace of the book you keep in reading.

I received this story as an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Who doesn't love mystical creatures, good and bad??? And then there's dragons!! I absolutely loved this one. If you've read the first one in this series, then this one will make so much more sense. Twists and turns that you aren't expecting are just what kept me reading. I read both books before I left my review, because its that good!!! Totally worth reading, and will let my daughter read this one when she's finished with the first one. A beautiful story filled with action, mystical creatures, protectiveness, and most of all love. A must read!
5.0 out of 5 starsOnce again Jake and Samantha are on a quest to save someone.

Jake and Samantha are forced to save Drasine, a golden dragon with healing powers who was kidnapped. All believe that the Evil One has her. But that might not be the case. And Drasine might not want to be found. Loyalties will be tested, and friends and enemies are not always what they seem. Jake has a time bomb ticking on his wrist and they only have several days to complete their mission. I absolutely love the mystical creatures Jake and Samantha meet along the way on their mission. These creatures are intelligent, beautiful, and powerful. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received a arc of this book for a honest review. This book was fast paced as Samantha and Jake race against the clock to save Jake. A slave bracelet was put on Jake forcing them to find and free Drasine, the golden dragon who breathes golden fire that heals and strengthens powers. They need to find her and figure out who to trust and stop the Evil One from getting Drasine. I really enjoyed this book and love the characters. I can’t wait for the next book.
This book is second in the Guardian series, and it begins shortly after the first ends. It's great. Lots of twists and turns. You never really know where it's going till it lands, and I like that! That makes for an excellent read! Leaves open-ended, so there's definitely another coming, and I can't wait for it.
I received this book as a gift, and I have offered my honest opinion above. Grateful for the gift and opportunity to share my opinion!
