5.0 out of 5 starsA great book that teaches new skills for our most frequented habitat -- work.

Highly recommended book about how to be less clueless at work. Where some business focused books teeter out after a few chapters, Garone is able to keep your attention with practical advice throughout the book. This advice comes in the form of different challenges, which will keep me coming back to this book over and over for the next years.
This is absolutely an essential book. I love the “plain speak” or directness that Anthony has brought forth. His writing style, his humor, his genuine interest in helping people become better at “the work” is very evident. He knows so much about this subject because he has researched it immensely. He has written curriculum about the topic, he has trained people on it and he has lived it. There is little else one would need to do in order to become an expert - Anthony is clearly an expert on this. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. It is great for employees, it is great for employers it is great for college students getting ready to go into the workforce. There is no one that this book misses.
5.0 out of 5 starsTHE book that should be at the top of everyone's read list

As stretch therapist and an amatuer artist I initially thought Clueless At the Work would not be very relevant to my life, but a friend recommended it to me and I was willing to give it a try. My initial thoughts were quickly proven false. Whether you are a young college grad, a stay at home parent or the president of a company, Clueless At the Work will guide you, in part, through the steps in determining what you really want, and how to get there. From the rudimentary to the sophisticated, Anthony Garone lays out all the work that any focused, determined person can achieve. I own the book and listened to the audio book, and highly recommend both. I am elbow deep in the work and the future looks bright.

If you're on a design or technology team, you probably have a lot of talented (or not) people wondering how to get ahead or progress in their careers, but you're not sure what to tell them beyond, "be good at what you do." This is a book that helps get at all the other factors involved, particularly the frame of mind and intention required to progress oneself forward not just in one's career, but in life.
5.0 out of 5 starsThis book speaks to and benefits regardless of age, occupation, or situation.

Anthony's book meets you where you are and guides you to where you want to be in life, work and all points in between. It breaks down our assumptions (like how we view mistakes) and gives fresh, practical perspectives as to how to move forward. I'll put it this way: my kids (ages 19 to 31, college student, detective, print floor manager ) and their significant others (police officer and graphic artist) will be getting a copy for Christmas. It'll be a gift that serves them well from now through the rest of their lives.
