This is not your typical long-winded self-help book. It's much shorter and more concise, which allows one to read through it and come away with important messages, instead of getting lost in the fluff. It's written as a step by step thought-and-action guide to helping cement one's relationship.

Easy to read and follow. Helped me to see what my part is in our relationship. It helped to write down the answers to the questions immediately that are in the book. It would be difficult for me to read it through first and then go back and read again to answer the questions.
5.0 out of 5 starsGreat Advice from a guy who knows.

This book can change your life!
Its funny but I'm writing this review on my thirteenth wedding anniversary. I really was intrigued when R. Slatkin made the point that the basic foundation of marriage is commitment. I never thought about it, but I can see how true it is. Without total commitment how can there be total trust?
This book literally saved my marriage. We were considering divorce - but decided to give it one more go. Marriage counseling never worked. This book made all the difference. I have recommended it to many other couples.
