While I was reading this "Wonderful" book, I felt myself experiencing a whole gamut of emotions: I would smile and laugh when Morgan and Ford would say silly things, or tease each other. I would get angry when other characters would belittle or mock Ford because of the results of his terrible accident, or just their plain ignorance. I even found myself smiling more and more as the story developed, and I watched kindness become affection, which finally ended in love between Morgan and Ford. . It was then that I found myself crying tears of Joy. " WHAT A GREAT READ!!!"

Lots of pain and bitterness to work through in this relationship but patience and love wins out. Ford and Morgan were a sweet couple to watch their romance develop.

It is interesting to see how the billion dollar marriage offers continue to pop up in each story as well. Mr. Edwards sure had an awful lot of money to leave in his will!

This is a beautiful story of a man, once quite handsome, who has a great mind and manners but no confidence in himself because of his mangled looks. A woman, model beautiful looks at things, and him, through different eyes than most everyone else. How likely of a combination is that for a romance? It is not an outer beauty that makes a person who he is, but rather the strong character traits and kindness shown to others. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it.

This story was filled with so many emotions, yet was full of positivity and joy.
Ford’s story resonates with me because I know a wonderful man who experience a farming accident in the same way as Ford, nearly dying, but with fewer injuries. He found his real-life beauty as well.
This is the type of detail that makes Jesse’s stories so wonderful. This was a Beauty and the Beast retelling (Surprising!), yet it rang so true to life!

I really loved that Ford got his HEA. The accident that took his looks and his future in hockey also took his confidence. He was an angry and bitter recluse. And then he met Morgan. She was as beautiful on the inside as the outside. She was a model that had principles she wouldn’t compromise.

Their relationship evolved as they discovered there was more than meets the eye when it came to both of them. She was more than her physical beauty, and there were people that would look past his disfigurement to see the kind and generous man he was.

I’m not a fan of insta-love but this didn’t read that way.

I love books with a hint of fairy tale retelling in them and Beauty and the Beast is my favorite of them all! I loved this book. I knew it was going to be good, but wowza was it ever amazing! The background on our two mains was fabulous. I love the double emphasis on the inner rather than outer beauty. Having our second main be a former model was like the icing on a cake. I can't wait to devour the next book!

Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairy tale. I loved that this is a bit of a retelling. The audio was amazing. There were times where I completely forgot that there was only one person speaking! Incredible.
