Witchin' Around the Clock is the fifteenth book in the Winchester Witches mystery series, but it could be read as a standalone if you're new to the series. Hemlock Cove is hosting a witch coven’s solstice celebration, which coincides with the day of Clove and Sam's wedding. A group of birds appear in the sky a few days before the solstice and soon after, there is an explosion at the local blacksmith shop. Bay, Landon and Chief Terry soon discover that the explosion was no accident, the blacksmith was murdered and the explosion meant to cover it up. In the meantime, Clove’s emotions are all over the place and affecting Bay and Thistle, which isn’t helping them keep Clove’s pregnancy a secret. Clove and Sam's wedding can't come soon enough, but Bay is determined to identify the killer prior to the wedding.
I enjoyed the story and while I thought I had the identity of the murderer figured out, it turned out I wasn't entirely correct. I liked the progression of Bay and Landon's relationship and how the moms handled discovering that Clove is pregnant. One revelation at the very end of the book left me looking forward to the next book in the series--hopefully it comes out quickly! I really enjoy the Winchester Witches series and I highly recommend it!
