Mary Beth was attacked and raped. Her father threw her out and said she lied. She is pregnant and goes to the ranch that she knows where a man that had asked her to marry lived. But when she gets there, he is already married. Ross, another ranch handmade her to marry and she accepts. They have their problems, but keep working on them. Then the man that raped her, takes away from her home. Lily is forced to go with them. She shoots Leon. And they return home. Ross and Mary Beth fall in love, but their troubles are not over. Her father passed and they return to her home for the funeral. Ross believes that she will not want to give up the home she grew up in, but she sets him straight. Then their daughter is born, the same day Lily gives birth to a little girl also.
