5.0 out of 5 starsThe most in-depth guide for recruiting in Japan
Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2018
I've been a recruiter in Japan before and, as it's a very common career path for non-Japanese people in Japan, it's something I get asked about very frequently. I'll link friends or acquaintances to this or that online resource or have a phone call with them, but there's always plenty of questions left unanswered that really several phone calls or lunch meetings to cover properly. This is definitely the most in-depth look at the subject I've seen. It covers why someone would want to be a recruiter / What's unique about the Japanese market / How to select the right company & How to pass the interview. Having experienced the recruiting path myself, it was a fun and kind of natsukashii read. Will definitely be recommending it to anyone asking about recruiting.
5.0 out of 5 starsMust buy for people getting into recruiting in Japan

I came to Japan as an English teacher but I really quickly realised that it was not a long term career unless I went and got a masters degree and taught at university. If you are good at sales, recruiting is a good way to make a LOT of money, and this book spells out the whole thing for you :) Highly recommended
