5.0 out of 5 stars it is a story of love, bravery

I'm posting the same review for each of the books
I read a lot, one or two books a week, mostly SiFi/fantasy . I started down this road with Mr. Tufo when I picked up Zombie Fallout September 1st of 2010,wherein I was introduced to a set of characters who I sincerely cared for, Michael Talbot being at the head of that list. I was late coming to the Indian Hill series, but boy did I make up for lost time. I read IH1 January th and then sprinted through 2-7, this past week, finishing IH7 EARLY this morning (2/4/18). This series is more than just a space opera, it is a story of love, bravery, and especially hope and family.

Mr. Tufo recreated Mike's world in such a way that all of the characters were the same people with eerily similar backgrounds to their counterparts in the Zombie series. They are, for the most part, younger with less seasoning, but they still hold true to who they are in the other, I'll call it dimension. Mike is still a bit crazy, he still has many of the same phobias, and shortcomings, yet he in some ways is stronger and less flawed they the other "Mike", or just differently flawed. You have Mike's Childhood friends Paul and Dennis who like Mike grow up and take on enormous responsibility at a very young age. Though as I write this they are the age many of our service men today are when they join up. They become men at a faster pace because the world needs them to.
You have a love story as well, one that as readers of Mr. Tofo's books will recognize immediately, Mike and Tracy, though you will scratch your head and wonder where Tracy is for a while. There is also the love between men and women who fight and die together, who don't fight for lines on a map or star chart but the person net to them in combat. Other friends fall into this place with Mike, like BT and DraBaBan a new character, who it is impossible not feel great compassion for.

The seven book series see's these people grow and change, some for good other for worse, but in any case you can't help but enjoy the ride and watch. If you haven't read the Fallout series of books don't worry, start here and then go meet the other Mike.
Mark Tufo, thank you

The hero of book one is sidelined till later in the book then brought back into view.
Mostly we heard about a spoiled little brat and her emotional breakdown!
That pretty much ruined this book for me.
I didn't choose to read an alien apocalypse book just to read about immature females of the species!

Tufo has again written another action packed novel. Nothing to serious, but extremely addictive. This is the second series branching out from his main novels "Zombie Fallout" . Mike Talbot's ...wait...can't say that. It would become a spoiler! If you are looking for a good read with places found on our globe, this is it. Keep going Mr. Tufo!

Wonderful. I did not really start to read until I picked up Zombie Fallout by Mark Tufo that was about 5 or 6 years ago. I'm 37 years old. Wish I would of been reading my hole life! He opened my eyes. I have read all of his books plus countless others. Love the indian hill series!!! Yeah sorry wont be getting poor editing and whatnot criticism from me. I just enjoy the story and all of Michael Talbot adventures. Thanks mark tufo for getting me hooked to reading/listing also Sean Runnette is awesome. Check out Nightlord by Garon Whited read Sean Runnette.... Oh and sorry for all my errors!!! So many reviews cry about that as if they could do better.

I love most everything Mark Tufo has written. I've read the entire Zombie Fallout series half a dozen times. I'm well into Lycan Fallout. Loved the first Indian Hills but this one was a struggle to get through. I forced myself to finish because... well... because it's Mark Tufo but I was bored to tears with it.
Sorry Mark.

It's hard to say enough about Mark Tufo's books. They all keep you on the edge of your seat, or in my case reading until 3am, constantly. He's extremely funny (and brutally honest about men in general, which cracks me up). Went through all his Indian Hill, Zombie Fallout, and Shrouded books in 3 weeks. Reading a series back to back like that usually gets old. Not his. Timothy and Lycan Fallout are next. After that I suspect the world will just go grey & dull. Bummer.

I'm not much into alien invasion stories. They've been done to death. But I do like Mark Tufos writing style. I liked seeing a different version of Mike from the zombie stories. Rock on Mark!

Another great book by the wonderful Mr Tufo, if you are contemplating picking up one of Mark Tufo's books, please do. Just finished Indian Hill 2 and I can't wait for the next one to download. I am really enjoying the Indian Hill series, it is funny, the characters are well developed and relatable. It is very satisfying when the good guys get one over the bad guys, often in a David and Goliath kind of way. I totally recommend this book, it is well worth your time and money,

Another great foray into Mike's crazy world, there a lot more Info on the characters . The action continues on from the first book, more enemies are revealed and Mikes luck continues to suck. But he always finds a way of carrying on. I highly recommend this sort. Fab

Mark Tufo has put a collar and leash on me and I will be lead to anything he writes. Everything he has written is fast paced with quirky humour. I'm so impressed with his writing that I have bought everything I could find which was written by him and have been working my way through. The humour and the solid story lines, with hints of other storylines have me hooked.
