Really enjoyed this author's book collection. Good characters. Good story lines. The Trapped Girls Collection: Detective Grant Abduction Mysteries. Note: Read the 2nd book 1st as the 1st book occurs after the 2nd one. I'm one that likes to read things in order as events occur.
5.0 out of 5 starsA misunderstood ex-cop comes to the rescue in fine fashion.

Loved this story. Interesting characters, well-done plotlines. I couldn't help but get pictures in my head from the "Castle" TV series while reading. The strong male "cop but not a cop, and will break the rules", the equally strong female cops that mostly do things by the book; reminded me of the ready-made visuals from "Castle".
The Silent Ones (Books 1,2,3) take place later in time than Missing Person (Books 1,2,3). If you want to read these in chronological order, begin with the "Missing Person" books. Nothing will be taken away from the story doing so. Actually, it may aid in understanding the storyline. It didn't make sense for the director of the FBI to be involved until I read the "Missing Person" books.
An excellent, interesting and captivating read. This volume containes two multiple book stories. However, I recommend reading the second series first, as they occur before the first in the lives of those depictrd.
2.0 out of 5 starsFirst story has no solution and will leave you angry and annoyed....

Unbelievable wretched ending...or should I say lack of an ending. Who would write a suspense story and stop 3/4this of the way through. Makes you sorry you even wasted your time reading it. Very unjust of the author. I bought this entire series and I am ready to chuck them all if this is the way they are written.
It has been a long time since I have read a book this exciting! Chase, Dennis, Sam and Mocks were characters with character. Chase's relationship with Dennis a good example of what is good versus evil. I had a few problems with the manner in which the news media was written destroying the life of the person who was working to save lives when the circumstances were not favorable.
No longer a detective, Chase Grant takes on cold case files. However, he keeps finding himself involved in murder cases as a consultant or he is just in the middle of the action. He will stop at nothing to do what he feels is right. Full of action and intrigue and hard to put down once I started reading!
Spell check your work!!!! There is NO "e" in judgment!!!! You misspelled it no less than 6 times. Also, hire a proofreader so all your sentences make sense. Apparently, you just type and forget about it.
That said, really good read, good characters. Sorry to see series end.
