"The Naughtiest Cherub", narrated by Loki... well, I skipped through to the end after a few pages. It just wasn't grabbing my attention, and I saw no reason to try and read it all.
"First Dangle", narrated by Owen, was really good. Slomo is so cute how she gets excited over the smallest things, like getting "first dangle" in a tree. The story definitely had my attention, and I would definitely read more with Slomo and Owen.
"The Waters" narrated by Granuaile... was cute, yet unimpressive as well. I liked Orlaith's POV on the squirrels... it definitely sounded like what a dog's POV of squirrels would actually be like. This story wasn't really worth reading either, although I did read it all the way through.
"Friendly Emily" was an interesting short story. I liked the way the Emily character made the other main character so confused, then when he finally understood what was going on, he got the heck out of there!
Unfortunately, it seems to be a theme for me that I like one or two of these Iron Druid short stories, and can't finish or just dislike the rest. But, if Kevin Hearne writes more, I will definitely still read them.
