The book is very helpful. Went through it with my fiance before my wedding and the exercises were great. My problem with the book was the grammatical errors and typos. It's hard to read through some times. Definitely look into giving it another read through and looking for typos and grammatical errors.
5.0 out of 5 starsA great read with great tips to encourage and help couples

I went looking for a book because me and my spouse of 35 yrs were in a pattern of harsh angry disagreements and behavior that we seemed to not be able to curtail. We would appear to reach a compromise only for the other to backsliding back into the same old behavior. This book has excellent resources to prevent these incidents
5.0 out of 5 starsThis is a book to work through with your partner with mutual agreement.

It is well structured to do what it says; to increase trust and intimacy. It is mainly a series of questions about how we see ourselves and each other. This is a great way to increase openess and begin to have different and deeper conversations. It builds well, starting with simple questions and going deeper as we get used to the process of sharing new information. It is a good first step into a more intimate and sharing relationship.
