I’m Wired Differently Todd lays out and explains that the dissatisfaction that many of us feel, is about us and not the world. Not only does it explain why we feel this way, it gives us cause for hope. In today’s victim filled society, Todd tells us with God, a right mind, and the determination to not settle, the world awaits us with open arms. Well done my friend..

5.0 out of 5 starsTodd Saylor's leadership insights come from a career and life lived outside the box
Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2019
Who would think that a kid so hellbent to cross the road that he wouldn’t look both ways first - and end up on the hood of a car - would grow up to write an engaging book about leadership? Well, Todd Saylor has done just that.
From his earliest days working in the family donut shop to a courageous recovery from his first business failure to his epiphany about drifting from his personal principles and professional moral compass to his ultimate success as an entrepreneur, Todd weaves together engaging stories about failure and triumph - and the lessons learned from both - to illustrate what it takes to succeed when you're "wired differently."
Todd finds new language - favors, fulcrum principles, "the land of quo" - to breath life into ideas that defy the mainstream. Don't let the comfort of success or resignation to mediocrity - drift - lull you into complacency. Inventory what you have, including your weaknesses - your favors - to find the resources you can draw on to move forward. Todd identifies seven fulcrum principles on which to build an out-of-the-ordinary life, a life "wired differently."
I read this in one sitting and found it fun, quotable and engaging. I'm glad Todd ignored the standard advice to "look both ways before you cross the street," because the result made for a great story to start his book.
