This was a very good read for those looking to learn how to work remotely, but also travel
abroad. The author starts off by describing his past experience with working
remotely while traveling, and the methods he had to use to accomplish this. In addition, the author gives good advice about the benefits of a global career, and how it can be seen as a good thing on one’s resume.
Through the book, the author details his experience studying abroad in places like Bergamo, Italy; Prague, Czechia; Gwangju, South Korea; and more. He not only explains opportunities about studying abroad, but about actual work experience and opportunities available in other countries, respectively; but also, how to balance work and travel, the whole logistics (Accommodations, food, and transportation), Preparation, making friends (which can be a good support system), and most importantly the cost.
If you’re thinking of traveling abroad while working, looking to travel while working as a freelancer, or seeking advice on finding a job in another country then this is a recommended read. Filled with tons of details and experience that will change your perception of what you should do to prepare yourself financially and mentally.
