5.0 out of 5 stars The Mueller Report should be required reading for every high school and college student in America.

My copy arrived today, and I have already finished reading it! Even in its redacted form, I am horrified! How could we, as Americans, have allowed this current president and his campaign to get away with this. Every American must read this, but especially high school and college students.

1.0 out of 5 stars Inaccurate copy - missing huge chunks of text
Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2019

This copy of the report is unreliable. When I ran into a sentence that didn't make sense, I compared it to the online .pdf and discovered it's missing entire paragraphs. Also, the parts that are redacted are simply missing—there's nothing to indicate the fact that words or lines were redacted. Along with the redactions, words adjacent to the redactions (that are not part of the redaction) are also missing. Someone did a very sloppy job with this version. Even at $2.99, it's not worth it. Don't buy.

The narrators’ voices are impeccable and this download is free. What’s not to love? If you are using the Audible phone app I recommend listening at 1.25x speed.

We've all heard for two years about the "Mueller Report." Barr inferred it exonerated President Trump, then he made THIS EXACT REPORT available for all to read. Whether you love Trump or loathe him, you MUST READ this report. Whether it's by buying it or finding it free online and reading it, you will learn a ton about the details of the investigation. Anyone who would like to have an opinion, good or bad, about Trump MUST read this book -- or zip it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read for Every American
Reviewed in the United States on May 25, 2019
This is a must read for every American, especially those who are planning on voting in the upcoming election (which should be everyone 18 and older).

The advantage of this version over some of the others being offered is that it only includes the material released by the Attorney General. It does not include anyone's opinion. That is the best way to read this material. Read it and form your own opinions. That is the American Way.

The report lays out the almost two year investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Although, as has been noted by other, the report does does not claim collusion on the part of the President. Part of the reason, as clearly stipulated in the first few pages of the document, is because collusion is not an article in the criminal code. Therefore, the prosecutor sought conspiracy which is a much more difficult mountain to climb. Mueller clearly indicates that although they did not find any conspiracy their investigation was limited. It was limited in the personnel available as well as limited to this country. Therefore, although no conspiracy was discovered in the documents available the Report leaves open the possibility that if other documents (mainly overseas or destroyed) had been available then the conclusion might have been different.

As to the issue of obstruction, the Report highlights a number of instances which might be considered. But, again, given the nature of the Special Prosecutors office as it investigated the office and person of the President, Mueller felt that the decision on this matter actually belongs to Congress. The undertone is that if this investigation had been about any other position and person then obstruction charges would have been forthcoming.

1) Purchased Kindle book (Mueller Report) & same Audible title. NO WhisperSync-compatible Kindle available ...
among 16+ choices!?)
2) Tried to 'read' Audible & Kindle simultaneously, but Audible stops immediately upon turning page in Kindle book
3) Amazon says "authors dictate this [mis]behavior" Huh? Whaaa?
Why would ANY author discourage folks from buying two (2) versions of their book to use together?
4) The answer, of course, is Amazon's persistent profit-uber-alles (ie Greed) mentality.
Higher charge(s) - and profits - by forcing purchase of WhisperSynch version and pricey Audible add-on
(often higher-priced than stand-alone Audible w/subscription!?)
5) Conclusion: Amazon = Profit Maximizing Manipulation ... ARGGGGH!!
---
1-Star reflects Amazon profits-uber-alles policy, not the Report - which US taxpayers (me included) paid $30,000,000 to produce

5.0 out of 5 stars The Mueller Report - Redacted Version
Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2019

This is an important document relating to the 2016 election in which Mueller and his team first presented their evidence relating to Russian interference in the 2016 election but concluded that they did not have enough evidence to charge the president with conspiracy. The second part presents very convincing evidence that President Trump and other members of his family and administration went to great lengths of cover up information that might have supported a conspiracy charge. In the final section Mueller went to great lengths to show that the president is not above the law and may be prosecuted for self-serving obstructive acts. This report is not an easy read; in fact it is downright tedious. In the end I remain convinced that Trump and Putin probably conspired using back channels of communication for which there is no written record. If and when the non-redacted version is published, I will probably not read it, as I find this version appalling enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Mueller Report, A Must Read

I received my copy of The Mueller Report several days ago. It is obviously written to be read by the American people. Not only is it easy to understand and follow, it's very interesting. I ordered the large print copy. I think it's one of the best investment of $12.18 ever! I'm grateful it's so reasonable, making it accessible to most people. Libraries have many copies if you aren't sure you want to purchase the report. I'm happy to have my own copy, and will share it with others when I'm through reading it. Thanks, Amazon, or whoever it is, that has made the copy so affordable.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Interesting Read

In our modern age most people cannot bother to read reports like this as they want instant gratification in whatever way, including news stories, which can be shown by the way so many can be taken in by fake news, and make some pretty weird decisions. If I was an American, I would not have voted for either Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump, after all I do have some self-respect. You could argue that Trump offered more money in your pocket to the average American, which is at least something.

So, we all have heard and read stories about Russian involvement in the presidential election, the same way they meddled in our Brexit vote, and in other European elections. Mind you, as with the American election and Brexit we do not ultimately know how much difference this has made in the results, because we all know that a lot of people have no idea at times what they are really voting for.

With that out of the way here then we come to the actual report by Robert Swan Mueller III, Special Counsel to the Department of Justice. This Kindle edition is two volumes in length and there is a fully active table of contents to each volume, plus numerous active footnotes. Those unused to reading such documents before then please note that certain information is redacted, so although that information is hidden from us, we are given the reasons, due to privacy, the Grand Jury, to keep secret certain evidence gathering techniques, such as those which could give sensitive details about forensic gathering from computers, as well as information that if released could affect any ongoing investigations that could lead to further prosecutions.

Giving us introductions and summaries so we can see what was investigated and the definitions in US Federal Law that have to be considered to determine whether there is any probable cause to obtain a conviction in court. Also, this takes in constitutional matters and pre-determined meanings under current legislation.

Reading this some may be surprised by certain names coming up, such as Julian Assange, a man who played some part in the leaking of documents in the campaign, and Nigel Farage, although in the latter case there is no smear on his name, just that people in his orbit of acquaintances may have been able to offer assistance. Although it is interesting to note that as I write this it looks like a probe by the EU has been initiated due to the non-declaration of certain monies by Farage. In fact, as you read this report you somehow get the impression that you are reading somewhat a rogue’s gallery.

The first volume is about the inquiry into violations of US Law by Russian Intelligence agencies and their trying to disrupt democracy. The second volume is about obstructing the investigation. The first volume shows that there is not really any substantial evidence for conspiracy between Trump and his campaign and the Russian Government in trying to rig the election to gain a successful prosecution. The second volume which having read the first you will already read of lies and obfuscation carries on with this particular issue, and as we ultimately see this report does not exonerate Trump and there are questions relating to the President that still remain unanswered. Unfortunately for Trump he is perhaps at times his worse enemy, in that he obviously can show a quite fragile ego and will lie and prevaricate and encourage others to do so, because he wants to be seen as the best President ever, and that everyone loves him. Obviously reading this in its entirety will not be for everyone, but it still makes for an interesting read and should make you think about certain things a bit more.

Okay, so Mueller doesn't set the world on fire, as his report should - that nice Mr Barr saw to that - but the evidence is here. The Russians interfered with the 2016 election, to destroy Hillary Clinton and do everything possible to ensure Donald J. Trump, against all reason and logic, became president. It's a detailed read, not very exciting, but it contains facts. There were just too many Russian faces and names closely associated with the Trump campaign for mere statistical coincidence.
