Just getting into this series of novels and this is # 2. Set in the Navajo reservation in Arizona and involves things and spirits non-Natives do not understand. Overall, Ms. Bowersock related the essence of the culture fairly well. The spirits are real and they can be very dangerous to someone who truly believes. The detail to scenery and the hogan are well done. The description of the Arizona desert is spot-on and well done. The story line is a good one and Ms. Bowersock is to be commended for her presentation. I really hope Ms. Bowersock will return many times to the reservation - even if only to let us interact with Ben again. Perhaps, Lacey will be allowed to understand the culture and the people better.
I enjoyed this presentation and look forward to "the rest of the story".
