1.0 out of 5 starsAvoid this book, especially if you're a beginner

I had gotten a new Kindle and three months of Kindle Unlimited and this turned up as one of the free books. I'm glad I didn't pay for it and resent the memory space it takes up on my kindle. I've been studying Finnish for over three years so while I'm not fluent I'm past the beginner stage. I know the basic words like the days of the week well enough to know that this book is trash. I'm not bothering to read all of it because I can tell it would only screw up what I have already learned. If you want to learn Finnish stay away from this book. If you can't afford "Complete Finnish" by Terttu Leney see if your library carries it. You'd be better off learning Finnish off of a website than "Learn Finnish in a Week", heck even Duolingo could teach you better. The errors in this book are the opposite of learning Finnish.
Didn't end up buying this book because I sent the bit from the preview about the difference that doubling letters makes in Finnish to my native Finnish boyfriend and he pointed out that one of the 6 or so words in the picture was incorrect (tappan should be tapan), not a great sign from the first few pages of a language learning book.
2.0 out of 5 starsVery poor - no structure and full of typos.

Poorly structured. One psrt is lists of words and the second psrt lists of phrases. No meaningful indexing or structuring. Will be if little or no practical durch’n a live Situation as it is not possible to do a targeted search for needed phrases. No explanations of grammar A very poor effort. It is also crawling with typos suggesting it was put together in a hurry with very little care or time for checking.
