5.0 out of 5 stars One of those rare times that the hope, the hype and the harvest actually align!

Like nearly every other Steve Chandler book I own, when I am finished reading it for the first time it is physically unrecognizable due to the folded pages (I have a system where small insights get a dog-ear and BIG insights get a half-page fold and this one is lousy with half-page folds), handwritten notes, arrows, circles and highlights!

As per usual, the humor, impact and power of Crazy Good is surpassed only by its simplicity. A book of choices, a book of distinctions, a book that doesn't have to teach or preach anything complex or statistically significant in order to change our lives by reading it.

I somehow found myself both excited and relaxed at the same time while reading Crazy Good - because the choices showed me possibilities without adding any pressure that I HAD to make all of the choices now.

I have already gotten so much from Steve's books and what Crazy Good has provided is another reminder of the power I already possess to make good (I mean CRAZY GOOD) choices in my life.

One visual that really stuck with me was the metaphor of the lamp and the self-criticism. I won't ruin it if you haven't read it, but that one has been playing on repeat in my head ever since I first read it!

Thank you Steve for another masterpiece; for sharing a piece of your mastery.

5.0 out of 5 stars A crazy good read

Quote from the author: "Crazy good goes out beyond what anyone has anticipated. Like unexpected showers falling on a dried‑out land. No one is really ready for the joy it brings." And you know what, I felt that joy.

As a long-time fan of Chandler, I found some of his books to be AMAZING, others did not resonate as deeply with me (at least at the time). I picked this one up after my mastermind buddy raved about it - truth be told, she raved about the last 1/3 of the book. So I read this book with that "expectation" (how ironic given Steve's views on that word) but alas, I am glad to be disappointed because this book was fantastic start-to-finish.

I made my highlights public so you can see the sections where the new insights showed up for me. I love how easily Steve relays his thoughts through stories and without ever beating around the bush. It's crystal clear, and it is like everyday language. And his writing voice, as well as most of his examples and the way he describes them, are nothing short of both poignant and hilarious.

From Crazy Good, I had the new insights as well as reinforcements of many older ones. Some of those insights are below:

- Choices. You have choices. Nothing grand about this idea but the way he describes it makes it stick even more. Make a choice.

- I paraphrase: You don't have to believe in yourself. Just do the work. Test. Experiment. Go out there and do it.

- Do one minute a day. You can do one minute. Anyone can. Of the thing that is calling your name.

- How coaches among others waste so much time, and how this work can be fun and effortless.

- And the biggest one of all: You do not need to create a positive belief or mindset about the thing you want to do or achieve - You Just Go Do It. Over and over again until you get it. Like riding a bike. Or learning to walk.

I learned so much about this great book that I'm thinking of buying a physical copy too. Fantastic for anyone feeling stuck, especially if you are a coach, and anyone who is open to transformation, not more information.

Thank you, Steve, for a CRAZY GOOD BOOK!

5.0 out of 5 stars Chandler's Latest Masterpiece

Crazy Good continues Steve Chandler's long string of TRANSFORMATIONAL books. The premise of this book is that our daily lives are really just a series of CHOICES. Chandler skillfully illustrates 15 life choices, with examples from his or his client's lives, that we can make every day. These choices will determine if we continue down the undesirable life road we are on, or CHOOSE to go down a different road.

While much of what is presented here is a summary of previous Chandler work, I found a new method Chandler used to help convey his concepts. Amanda, and her "stories" or "choices" were brilliantly interwoven throughout the book. Using 'Amanda' helped connect many of the CHOICES and how they are often interrelated.

You can't go wrong in devouring this easy read. Read twice...Once for Information...Second for TRANSFORMATION.

This book has totally changed my life. I now wake up every morning feeling so happy and peaceful my husband is getting worried. I used to be a very angry, resentful person, I now realize I love my husband, my kids, and my life, which is getting better and better each day.

Reading this book will open you up to the good in life, I do not know how Mr Chandler has done it, but just reading this book and changing the way you look at your day to day life can bring about the most wonderful changes.

Crazy Good! Easy to read and take in but at the same time, the author makes some really good points about the choices we can make in life. One of the sets of choices also helped me to better understand one of my friends.
