This audio book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
Pascha wrote and narrated this book. I was immediately and pleasantly surprised. Her delightful Alabama accent perfectly balances friendly and engaging. She is a member of the Zig Ziglar group! I grew up listening to and reading Zig so I appreciated when she would share a story or quote from him. If you’re not familiar with his material consider it a bonus.
She goes over how to make your company one that employees will want to be a part of and contribute to. She details a number of different programs, initiatives and other factors that go into developing a corporate culture. Even if you are not the CEO of a major corporation, the lessons and insights she provides will be helpful in developing teams of any size. This was well worth a listen.
She also name drops several other authors of fantastic leadership material so if you listen and want to delve deeper into certain topics, you have some great reads / listens ahead of you.

I enjoyed listening to Pascha read her book- her enthusiasm and heartfelt belief really made this an enjoyable read/listen! All of her recollections, tips and advice really applied to my business and any business- if you enjoy listening to people who not only have walked the road but struggled through and thrived as a result of those journeys, this is the book for you! As a business owner myself, time is precious and listening to EXCELLENT books is always a worthwhile use of my time! Thank you Pascha- this book will help thousands!

Pascha Kelley definitely has her finger on the pulse of what it takes to be a good leader. She describes how to build a successful business, attract the "cream of the crop", and keep them. I love her comment about magnetic leaders, "They lead by example, and they are respected and trusted by their employees-not because these things are demanded by the leader, but because they are earned." In her book she explains how to become this kind of leader. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to be a better leader.

Coming from a Fortune 500 background, I found this to be basic. That said, the author did a good job hitting on and summarizing key points. This would a great introduction for smaller business or people who have not been exposed to these concepts before. It's a quick read too, and a handy reference, which is always a plus for busy leaders and entrepreneurs.

There is no doubt the secret sauce to a great company is our people. If you want to build a great culture, I highly recommend this book. It is a great jump start to build the framework you need to become a magnetic leader, empower your employees, and measure your progress. I love the idea of measuring performance based on our core values. Pascha provided a great template to help you create a behavior-based performance program.
