4.0 out of 5 stars The Magic of the Chocolate Crawl
Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2018
Holly lives in Kismet Bay, a town famous for the magic of bringing soul mates together, especially within her family.
It is the day of the Christmas Parade and the Chocolate Crawl, when she meets a new comer, knowing in her heart that he is the one.
But will he feel the same?
A quick, short read, describing how uncomplicated love can be, if both acknowledge and accept the bond and have a lot of family to help to bring them together.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Christmas Romance
Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2018
This is a sweet uncomplicated short romance story. It is kinda of cliche with the main characters being named Holly and Nicholas and set during Christmas, but it is a straight forward read with little drama. It was nice to read about two people that instead of fighting love when it knocks on their door, embracing it and letting love fill their life. This made for a nice simple evening read.

ONCE UPON A CHRISTMAS
by Dawn Brower

A very short Christmas romance/ magic tale. Seemed cute but ...........

The narration was poorly done. Magdy Maher's accent was almost too hard to listen to.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

4.0 out of 5 stars Book good but audio shaking head
Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2020
I thought this short story was ok but the narrator took so much away from the story it was hard to really know what was going on.

The accent was a little much, The character voices were are to tell apart, and I think it was read a little to fast. I couldn't even finish it.

I’ve read several books written by Dawn Brower; she has written another excellent book. She is becoming one of my favorite authors.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

I loved the chemistry between the characters.
