Seriously this series is so freakin good! All the things I loved about the first book: the world building, the amazing character development, the laugh out loud humor, Bonds of Cupidity has it all and then some. I was completely entertained and enthralled from the first word to the last. Bring on book 3 and anything else Raven Kennedy wants to write. I'm in, I'm sold, I'm completely devoted!

I loved book 1! Book 2 is even better! I devoured this book in one sitting and bought it even though it is on my kindle unlimited. Yes it is just that good! Book 2 picks up with her 3 guys going into the trails with that nasty prince being the huge douche canoe he is. Emelle goes though her own trails trying to stay hidden in plain sight. I love her fourth guy, Okot. He is just amazing and sweet...just perfect! I swear Emelle was a comedian in her past life! I found my self cracking up so many times! This does end with a big cliffhanger but I can't even be mad because the book was just that satisfying! I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!

You know it is a good book when the VERY first thing you do after finishing the book is to go stalk the author on 3 types of media to try to find out when the next book is coming out.

I don't know how else to put this other than begging... I need my next shot of Cupidity ASAP! (I might be re-reading them until book 3 comes out!)

Do not miss out, book 2 surpasses the brilliance of book 1, the Lust breath scene was one of my favourites!

Really impressed that these are the first books that the author has published.... Raven goes to straight into my Favourite List!

I knew the steaminess would pick up in this book but oh my god!!! It was scorching hot!! Emelle now has 4 mates, Okot and her 3 genfins from the first book. I absolutely love every single one of her mates for different reasons! Even though this book ramped up the heat in the sex department, it never overshadowed or distracted the reader from the overall storyline and plot. There was so much drama and action here that I could not stop reading this book...who needs sleep right?

Emelle is still absolutely hilarious and still lacking in the social skills department. Her first mate Okot is completely smitten with her and her 3 genfins have finally vocalized their desire to be mates with her. The mating between Emelle and Okot was so funny because of her reaction to his...equipment. But it was still steamy and the mating with her 3 genfins was scorching hot!!!

We get to see more interaction with the Princess and the Prince (unfortunately) and then the fae who Emelle saved from the other banishment island makes another few appearances... can Emelle have 5 mates? Because I like him too!

This was an incredible addition to an already awesome series. The author did a wonderful job creating this world and the characters. I cannot wait to read the next book!

When last we saw Emelle, she and her Genfins were readying for the royal tournament, where the Genfins would be forced to compete against other exiled fae in order to return to their home and keep their lives. In this second edition, Emelle is confronted with the realization that her very existence is dependent on the survival of her Genfins, lest she should be returned back to the Veil and her connection to the physical realm severed. She keeps her predicament secret from the men, fearful that they will feel pressured to remain with her once the tournament is over, or worse, that they will prove their indifference for her and turn their backs on her to pursue a mate of their own. But as the tournament progresses, Emelle’s concerns for the Genfins’ feelings towards her will become the least of her worries.

In order to remain close to the Genfins and keep the bond tying them together, and her to the physical realm, strong Emelle must ally herself with Princess Soora and prove she can be a valuable asset to the Resistance rearing to overthrow Prince Elphar and his family’s rule. Emelle is in way over her head, and she is unsure of who to trust. She will need the support of her guys, along with a new and passionate male who has sworn to protect her, if she is going to keep her physical body, and her life.

I loved getting to follow Emelle’s story again and to see how she handled the newest challenges being thrown her way. She is such a naïve and worldly character at the same time. She has no experience with the real world, that she can remember, but she has stood on the sidelines for half a century and is so excited for every new experience she has. I love her childlike innocence and her womanly wiles, and how those two contradictory traits melded so well in Emelle. I would highly recommend this series!

I went straight from book one to book two and I am so glad I started this series!
Emelle can be lazy but it is just who she is and she pushes those genfin men to their limits, which is quite fun to read. You have your Ronak (the Alpha), Evert (the a hole) and then Sylred who is the softy of them all, but my favorite is the lamassu, Okot. He just captured my heart! In book two Emelle tries desperately to find the genfins when they are taken off the abandoned island for the culling games. Also while trying to hide from the Prince and in the process she finds her mate Okot (drool). I am not going to give any spoilers but this book is written extremely well and the story-line will suck you end and you will fight sleep to keep on reading. There are twist and turns and you won't have a clue what will come next. God I could go on and on about this book, I am just glad that book three is already out because I am automatically diving into that one NOW!

This book should have come with a warning that it will leave you with one hell of a book hangover. I devoured this book and now I'm sort of just sitting on my sofa, twiddling my thumbs, wondering what to do with myself now that I finished it!

This book was just as good, if not even better, than the first. I'm hooked, line and sinker. Literally, the second it's announced that these books are on paperback, I'll be adding them to my collection. They're THAT good.

The characters have me head over heels in love with them. Emelle is probably one of the best MCs I've read about. She's quirky, funny as all get out and just super awesome. The guys, including Okot, are amazing. They're charming, playful and snarky. Some of the very best characters I've read about, honestly. The storyline has me very intrigued. I'm dying to know what will happen next to the merry band of misfits! I'm excited to find out where their adventure will lead.

Another very well deserved five stars, though it still seems too little.

What a story. What can I say about this book but bloody brilliant, fantastic, Awesome and couldn't get enough. I so want the next book. I want it right now but I know I will have to wait but it will be ever more sweeter to read then. Want to know what happening to ML and why the Princess sent her guards to attack them. I think it magic put on the Princess guard by the horrible Prince. Also want to see the Prince over thrown and get what coming to him. And that ML goes back to her mates before three days is up. Wow. Just wow. Tension, drama, twists and turns I loved this second book from cover to cover. As much as I love the genfins, the introduction of a certain lovable bull was just perfection for me.
