This was a quick and easy read about a teenage girl who "sees" murders in her dreams. When a murder hits too close to home, high school senior Mara Johnson must use her psychic dreams to find the killer before it's too late.
The author has an easy going writing style. The characters are likable and I would guess they're easily relatable to teens.
I enjoy YA novels and this one didn't disappoint me. It's not an overly unique story, since this plot has been written before. Yet, The Dream Diaries has a few twists that readers should enjoy. It's definitely worth the read.
