The plot was what enticed me to download this book. It was free & I’m so glad it was so I didn’t waste my money. It was an instant attraction that immediately turned to raunchy sex, lots of it. It was also full of vulgar language, so for the sake of the plot I skimmed 3/4 of the book to get to the end. This was a 3 book set and the 2nd story was a ménage a trios. When I saw that I deleted it from my library. Like I said it was not for me.
I was actually a little disappointed with this 3 book bundle and glad I got it as a free read. They sounded so good when reading the overviews. At times I found myself skipping pages and rushing thru parts. It's like there was a lot going on, keeping up with all the background info and all the extra characters while reading detailed sex and dirty talk between the characters. For me the usual easy flow of the plot was off. Just okay.
This is a decent series, I did enjoy reading it. But there are a few things Readers need to be aware of.. Before you start this series: Very Detailed SEX in each book, with dirty talk Involves triad MMW, and Male on Male Sex. There are several Typo's that are very noticeable in every book. Missing words, wrong words, wrong names, repeats... I just can't give high ratings to such poorly put together, and poorly edited books, no matter how much I liked the stories.... I won't continue with the series because the story line just keeps repeating in each book. With just a few things different. This is a good idea for books, it just needs more polish IMO Happy reading

Love this series so far, such a fun read. I haven’t ever been one to read paranormal books all that much but I’ve gotten so wrapped into this series there is no turning back.
I like the premise that humans have a touch of the supernatural, even if it takes a lightning strike to start the process. I thought it had a bit too much sexual content in the style that says, "if you don't know what to do with your characters, then have them have sexual relations to fill a few pages." I also got tired of reading through errors that should have been caught in some editorial review. For example, does the author know the difference between "your" and "you're"? She usually would say "you're past (just picking a random noun here)" when it should have been (your past). One is ownership; the other is a contraction for "you are." Another example in the first book was the use of "angles" when the word was "angels." Again, editing is needed.
I felt the storylines and the plot were way too formulaic and predictable, and the characters too two dimensional for me to become invested in. The pace is very uneven from book to book. And a serious proofreading edit is needed. But other than that- harmless enough fun (if you don't mind x-rated scenes). Won't be continuing the series though.
