3.0 out of 5 stars Once More Into the Breach

"Bertrand raised his hand and pointed to the palm. This signal indicated to Damian the beginning of a conversation to be held in SSL, Stockwell Sign Language. Often times, in the field, it became necessary to communicate silently. Facial expressions and pointing had their limitations so Stockwell had devised an effective means of communicating with hand gestures. Pointing to the palm, for example, not only signaled the start of an SSL conversation, it also meant, “look at my hand.” It was all about context."

Damian Stockwell springs back into action in this humorous tale, complete with nazis, ninjas, and mad science.

5.0 out of 5 stars Relentlessly fun. And America.

What can one say about Damian Stockwell that the man hasn't already said himself?

Wallace's Stockwell adventures are pure, unadulterated fun. Like Horror in Honduras, Terrors of Tesla is a fast-paced, blood-pumping, heart-pounding, head-shaking adventure. The brilliant, powerful, not-quite-as-sharp-as-he-thinks-he-is man's man Damian Stockwell is in fine form in this second installment of the Stockwell saga, and all I can say is, I hope Wallace never stops writing The Bulletproof Adventures of Damian Stockwell.

Never stop, Benjamin. Never, never stop.

The follow-up to Horror of Honduras does not disappoint. Not only does it bring the laughter, it has a action packed story with the world's most famous adventurer fighting Nazis to keep Tesla' s inventions out of Hitler's hands.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wallace does it again.

There are precious few authors that inspire me to read every word they've ever written. Ben Wallace just became one of them. He excels in writing great adventures while at the same time making you laugh until it hurts ( but just a little bit, haha) . . Seriously though, I cannot recommend his books enough. Read, my friends, and enjoy!

A thoroughly strange book, like the other two in the series. Very funny and very enjoyable. If you're looking for something funny and a "little out there" I recommend all three books.

Not as good as the tales of the Apocalypse series. Still readable, though

Damien Stockwell is either one of the most brilliant and incredible men in the world, or a complete idiot. You are never sure which, and that's part of what makes these books so fun to read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just good old fashioned fun

This is the follow up to the earlier book, Horror in Honduras and if anything it's even more outrageous. World War II is approaching, and Tesla has been working on weapons to help out the war effort. Unfortunately his inventions have been stolen, and no one believes him. Enter Damian Stockwell.
This picks up where the previous book left off. Damian is still larger than life, Bertrand is still the butt of most of the trouble, and the jokes and humour just flows. It doesn't seem to matter how bad things get, there's always room for another joke.
Just good old fashioned fun
