This was a pretty good book. Great H and h. I didn’t give it a 5 star because I just felt like it was missing something. Like maybe they weren’t fleshed out. Maybe if Addie and Hayden didn’t have their page time or the book was longer. Bad guy really wasn’t part of the story. Even though he’s mentioned a few times and the one incident.
I felt like the book contradicted itself. At one point he says he wasn’t into her when he first meet her. That it came later. At another time he said he was and knew he’d be in trouble when she was hired on.
Another time he says she wasn’t his type because she was shaped like a boy.
Then another time he says she is every man’s fantasy. Ummmm most men do not fantasize about a woman that is shaped like a boy. One place he says something about her wearing unattractive business clothes that didn’t attract him and later he said the work clothes she was wearing which was a pin skirt and a blouse that exposed one shoulder showed too much. It’s little things, I know, but I don’t get it.
It was still a good book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loving the right man

I’ve read several books by Marie Force, and this one just continues to highlight her writing ability. I loved Leah and her irreverent attitude. Ms Force’s books always have an excellent strong willed female character and a male resistant to love, but they always end up in love.
Emmett is a wealthy lawyer for the Quantum group, and he is uptight, refusing to actually living a happy life. He is attracted to Leah but refusing to have feelings for her, because he thinks that she is too flighty and young for him.
Leah is a young woman working for Marlowe, a member of the Quantum group. She has felt an attraction to Emmett from the first day that she met him. They are constantly in contact as they are always at Quantum group gatherings, so it becomes difficult to avoid each other.
During one of these gatherings, Emmett suffers a severe accident and Leah is there for him. She takes care of him, and they begin to get close, and this develops into a relationship. Emmett is still leery about loving Leah, until an accident causes him to realize how much he cares for her. Eventually they admit their love for each other and obtain their HEA.
I highly recommend any book by Ms Force.

First off, I'm a huge Marie Force fan and have read many of her books - nearly every stand alone and majority of those in her many series. The Gansett Island and Treading Water ones being my favorites. I read the first in the Quantum series as soon as they came out, which were great, but despite being sexy and exceptionally written, I wasn't dying to read more. However, after reading a five day five chapter email sampling of Outrageous before it's release, it was impossible to resist pre-ordering and then soonafter diving right into this one. And I must say, it most certainly did not disappoint. I loved, loved Leah. She's in fact, one of my favorite characters ever - her sass, her strength, honesty and hilarity made her such a uniquely refreshing character. And then Emmett ... well, with the exception of thinking the cover model a mismatch of how he was described (yes, the abs appeared spot on but I had to look away every time the book loaded up on my Kindle thinking that guy looked a bit too porny and not enough Saville Row 😒), talk about a hunk of pent up burning love. He was everything a reader dreams about in the leading man role, and then some. This story about two beautiful, emotionally imperfect people was perfectly developed with the right amount of lust and longing, heat and heart that makes all Marie's books such page turners. I laughed out loud, I cried and sighed with such satisfaction throughout this book. Oh, and I loved the incorporation of all the other Quantum characters too, which reminded me of how great all the previous storylines have been as well. There is absolutely nothing to not love about Outrageous - a quick and oh so satisfying read!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The funniest and Hottest!!!!!

Good Golly Ms. Marie!!!!! You knocked another one out of the park! At first I wasn’t interested in reading about any of the other Quantum members. I must have read a teaser and was hooked! I love Marie’s writing. A condition for any book I read has to be that the writing transports me into the story and she never fails to do that. I love how her characters are spellbound by each other and always work to overcome the trauma that makes them feel they are unable to love or be loved or sustain a relationship. They believe they are happy in their tightly controlled lives until they let that one person in and lose control and see how much more there really is to life when they find love. I also love the chosen family the Quantum principals have made with each other and their fierce love and loyalty they have for each other.
This is by far the best and funniest book!! I laughed and laughed! And it was soooooo HOT!!!
Marie does not disappoint! Leah is truly outrageous and I love her sense of humor! Emmett has a run for his money and heart with her!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best in the series

I did not think I would love another couple as much as I loved Natalie and Flynn but shut the front door.

Leah and Emmitt had me at the first lick.

Leah has been taken out of a job she really should not have been in to a job that is most perfect for her. She was a teacher but after going to her best friend's wedding she ended up with the job as a PA to a Hollywood movie star, who also happens to be another member of the Quantum group. She is thrust into this Quantum family and sets her eyes on Emmitt. She falls for him while he goes over contracts the day she is hired. After that she ends up talking to him all the time with legal questions.

Emmitt has had a very hard time in his past and does not need/want a relationship. He is a member of the "basement" and for now that is all he needs for the person touch, or so he thinks. Then he is caught up in the hurricane named Leah.

This story will keep you in laughter, tears and deep thought. I personally think it is the best in the series. And I very much look forward to Marlowe's story and pretty sure we can all guess who she will end up with.

You can read this as a stand alone but I have no idea why you would. This series needs to be enjoyed by all.

Outrageous was a fantastic read. That pulled me in from the very start and never let go. Thanks to the intriguing Emmett and the sassy Leah. As well as a storyline that was funny, hot, sweet, captivating and charming. Which made it extremely hard to put down. Plus, I loved catching up with all the other Quantum characters, including Addie and Hayden, whose wedding features in this story. And I'm really looking forward to reading more from this series in the future, and would happily recommend Outrageous to others.

Read it. As I had been use to marie force writing in a different genre it took me a little while to appreciate her penmanship with this series. So I read the books and left them alone. I then went back to them and 're read the series with anew eye and wow I've been blown away. I've laughed and cried ans laughed some more. Never will I sneeze again without wanting to laugh out loud. So enjoy this series and enjoy getting to know some brilliant characters. Brilliant read

Leah & Emmett's story is hands down the funniest book I've read in ...well, maybe ever. Marie Force delivers with a one-two punch of humor and romance, along with a dash or two of action. I love strong female characters and alpha men. Outrageous and all the Quantum books serve it up every time. I won't give any spoilers, but OMG, chapter 13 just cracked me totally up!

I anxiously waited for this book after reading all the previous Quantum series & was not disappointed...Leah is so funny and Emmett has his issues but together they're hilarious.
The initial reason they get together made me laugh out loud (don't read it at work or you'll get funny looks)
Can't wait for the next 1.
Thankyou marie,you never disappoint.
