Margot Durand stepped into the warm breeze, a big relief from the freezing rain she had left behind at the airport 5 hours earlier! Adam Eastwood, her detective friend, texted to invite her to dinner before she left again for a 4-day cruise. A friend of Adam’s, Gabe, was at the restaurant and the two chatted. Margot noticed how Adam seemed to be hiding something and didn’t let Gabe finish a sentence which might reveal that information.
Margot is ready for her “working cruise”, where she will help her former student, Addie Petit, who is the principle baker on the cruise ship. But before long, dead bodies start to show up! And that won’t be the only surprise for Margot! Grab your copy of the book and join the exciting adventure ahead!
The writing of this book was really well done! It flowed comfortably and there were no annoying errors. The characters were described in enough depth that the reader was comfortable with them and how they would react. The light touch of suspense early on kept the reader involved and eagerly moving forward to discover the hidden information that couldn’t be shared. Altogether, this was a great mystery story that was enjoyable right from the start. Highly recommended!
