The concept of pantsdrunk is great and the book does a good job of explaining the idea, philosophy, and execution. But at the end of the day, there's just not that much to say about drinking alone in your underwear. Stretching that to 176 pages is not necessary. The first 3-4 chapters are all you need to get it. That being said, it's sort of fun seeing how the author filled out the page count. There's a 3 page long infographic about how to buy and drink a 6 pack of beer. Other negative is that it's very heavy on discussion of social media which makes it feel a bit of-a-time, so I'm not sure how that will all feel a few years from now. It already feels a bit like your parents talking to you about facebook.
In short, the author did the best they could to stretch a 20 page idea into a full book. The results are mixed.
