This is the third book in the Linley and Patrick series. This book is full of their adventures, their love for one another, despite their differences and a good bit of mystery. The book was very hard to put down and I would highly recommend this book.
When Lord and Lady Kyre go on vacation, adventure will follow. This time it's more of a misadventure, as they get themselves in a heap of trouble. This last book has more of a melancholy feeling, however Linley and Patrick keep it alive with thier misadventures.
the evolving relationship and maturity of the couple while adeptly inserting them into historical events, but oh the hurtful things they say to one another! And the continuing love and forgiveness each draws forth.

I really enjoyed this entire series! I was able to find the first book for free and purchased the next two. It's wonderful seeing how the characters developed and grew, and how each story was not rushed, and thought was put in their actions and adventures. Linley and Patrick are such a cute couple and I wouldn't mind even reading another story about them, should there ever be one!

to feeling disappointed with this storyline. There didn't seem to be much movement in the plot. It seemed to be as lot of talking and being stuck in a confined space somewhere. I must admit to not reading it very fast as it made me bored but I wanted to finish it to see what happened.
