My rating 4.3
A set of three books, "Ambassador: Books 1, 1A and 2 Omnibus (Ambassador # 1, 1,5 and 2 Omnibus) by Patty Jansen is an intriguing beginning of a science fiction series. I enjoyed the adventures of Cory Wilson who became ambassador to Earth as a new job as a representative of gamra, the alien organization that controls the network for wormhole travel. Civilization Coldi has established contact with the Earth, which after the devastating war has managed to regain its resources. Contact with the new civilization opens up new possibilities and Cory Wilson was sent as an ambassador to fit the Coldi civilization. Cory must fit into a civilization in which only watching the superiors can be fatal. The President of the Earth Government, which represents Cory called him to a meeting, he and the president were attacked in the office. Cory just coincidence survives the attack and trying to find out what happened. The weapon with which he attacked the president is not terrestrial and apparently, someone used advanced weaponry from Coldi civilization. Cory is convinced that this assault is not inconceivable and that someone obviously wants to destroy the fragile relations between Earth and Coldi civilization. Through these three books, the writer has managed to create the world of the future, which I really enjoyed and with pleasure, I have read all three books. In books, you can expect political intrigue, deception, and action. The characters and the worlds of the future are well elaborated and it was my pleasure to read the events of the main character. I would recommend this book to fans of sci-fi.
