5.0 out of 5 stars Life changing!

As a recent ACIM student, I have found Jon Mundy’s books to be some of the most helpful companions to the Course out there, and this book is no exception! Not only is it a highly insightful and comprehensive book on Mysticism, it also draws the many parallels between that and A Course in Miracles, validating further the notion that many paths followed by Mystics in the past and present are in line with the Course’s teachings. Furthermore, like all of Jon’s books, A Course in Mysticism and Miracles further deepens one’s knowledge and insight in both! This book is a gem filled with many other gems! I highly recommend it to all Course students and anyone on a meaningful spiritual and Mystical path.

Jon Mundy's panoramic view and insight into the essence of Mysticism in his latest work MYSTICISM and MIRACLES is totally captivating.  A wonderful work of scholarship that centers on the teaching of A Course in Miracles but dives deep into the wisdom of the sages and mystics of the past and present.  It draws us into the essence of the numerous streams of a Universal Teaching as related to the principles and practices of ACIM.  Jon's clear insightful presentation demonstrates his understanding and experience and will be of great value to the students of ACIM and to anyone on the Spiritual path.

1.0 out of 5 stars Blah, blah, blah

This book is written by a "minister". The book continually places "God" separate from humans. That is the lie that has been told for 2000 years to keep the human race under control of the rulers of this world. The book talks AT the subject and offers no methodology for acheiving true enlightenment. I suggest, Journeys Out Of Body and Far Journeys by Robert Monroe; The Lost Secret of Death by Peter Novak and last but not least The Nag Hammadi Scriptures. One more word of advice, the Bible was authored by kings NOT mysitics and although it has some truths the truths are disconnected and again offer no methodology for transcendence, throw it in the garbage. It has been my observation that the peoples of this material world are stuck in their false beliefs of "God" and can't be bothered to manage the state of their own consciousness, rather they leave it up to the rulers of this world or a fictitious "God" provided by the rulers of this world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brought me back home

In this wonderful book Jon Mundy skillfully weaves the mystical teachings of the world's great traditions along with the teachings of A Course in Miracles---emphasizing the commonalities and
essential oneness of all which is the heart of the mystical experience. A Course in Mysticism and Miracles is well written, well researched, yet easy to read. However, I think the greatest compliment I can give is that this book brought me back HOME. Having been blessed with a lifetime of mystical experiences, I so love reading about the mystical experiences of others throughout the ages and in modern time. During the time of the pandemic of 2020, this book has called me back home--- to myself, to the center of All Being, to Peace, to God (by whatever name or no name.) My heartfelt thanks to the author.

The text is often quite challenging to wade thru as we know. This is a pleasant, easy read with practical examples of course application. Loved it.
