In this book, we finish following October's pregnancy. After the baby comes the author had me angry and crying through the rest of the book. This installment should come with trigger warnings, but sadly, it does not. You and October are continuously teased with hope only to have it yanked away. I loved this book but spent most of it crying or on the verge of tears.
I'm giving the book a 5 star review because the author really steps up and pushes your buttons. You will get even more invested in the life of this Omen and her family - if that is even possible! This wasn't my favorite book in the series, but it was written incredibly well.
There was more mono-normative talk in this installment, which annoyed. I'm afraid that this 'reverse harem' is going to end in a monogamous relationship rather than the harem I feel like I should be rooting for.... I am still unsure how I want to series to end, but I'm on book 8 now and griping my kindle tightly as I try to read through the emotions that this author has so adequately learned to play with.
