5.0 out of 5 stars Such a Tease

In this book, we finish following October's pregnancy. After the baby comes the author had me angry and crying through the rest of the book. This installment should come with trigger warnings, but sadly, it does not. You and October are continuously teased with hope only to have it yanked away. I loved this book but spent most of it crying or on the verge of tears.

I'm giving the book a 5 star review because the author really steps up and pushes your buttons. You will get even more invested in the life of this Omen and her family - if that is even possible! This wasn't my favorite book in the series, but it was written incredibly well.

There was more mono-normative talk in this installment, which annoyed. I'm afraid that this 'reverse harem' is going to end in a monogamous relationship rather than the harem I feel like I should be rooting for.... I am still unsure how I want to series to end, but I'm on book 8 now and griping my kindle tightly as I try to read through the emotions that this author has so adequately learned to play with.

5.0 out of 5 stars You know what tou did, Miss Mary...

Get ready to cry people-I know I sure did. This book was, from beginning to end, an emotion-puller. Our Queen Wombat really knows how to kick a girl right in the feels. No holds barred, right from the start, October and the gang experience a heartbreak none of them were expecting. After the (ahem, looking at you, Mary) uncalled for tragedy, Von pretty much loses his marbles, leaving October barely a chance to cope on her own.
This one does have its funny moments-October teaching Finn how to drive, and Danny how to dance being two prime examples. We learn more of the McCray family background, and get a deeper glimpse of October and Terrance's relationship.
Danny and October become closer in their friendship. And then-more nonsensical (ahem, still looking at you Miss Mary) tragedy occurs, just after the group finally gets Mason home from Sombie.
This one is a must-read, although, make sure to have tissues (and maybe a couple of glasses of wine) at hand. You're in for a rollercoaster ride, baby!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent and emotional as always

If you've made it to book seven of Mary E. Twomey 's Terraway series, you should know what to expect by now. We have more of the same with ups and downs here. We have more of the complex characters with surprising depth. An emotional roller coaster for sure; be prepared for many tears. A couple of surprising twists I didnt see coming. My only complaint, and not enough to even question my five star rating, was the plot didn't progress much in this book for me. Instead we seem to jump from one big event to another--SPOILERS: Von comes back, we find out where Ally has been, October delivers, we take a short trip to Sombi, Mariang delivers. While all of those are major events and pretty big plot points we dont really go anywhere. With the exception of Sombi the entire book takes place in Ezra's mansion or October's house. As the penultimate book I will give it a pass as I'm assuming all these big events had to take place in order to set things up for the finale. Bear that in mind as you read if, like I did, you feel the story's moving a bit slow. I simply cannot wait for the conclusion!

This was a fantastic, gut wrenching, tear evoking piece to struggle to breath through.
October is such a strong heroine, even in her weakest moments, she shows strength for those around her she loves.

It has been a very, very long time since I have cried so much reading. The struggles, the heartbreak, the crazy mania that is Terraway is full speed, showing a much darker side that I couldn't even fathom existed.
Mary managed to write such a fantasticly horrifying yet brilliantly painful book, never leaving the Terraway story line but really slamming the big emotions down on you.
I started with tears and I rarely had a dry eye a moment of this book.
One thing I can say is, through the pain and heartbreak, Tease will envoke a fire in you to read the finale- but will Sama get his just deserts or is October going to fall right in his trap?
There are so many, yet so few loose ends to tie up and I'm praying our October Grace is the one on top.
But in Terraway, it's always a toss of the coin.

5.0 out of 5 stars Poor guy. *But the last chapter

So, I just finished and still feeling very emotional. I get goose pumps talking about it. So much loss in this book. My heart is breaking for them.
WOW!
*Great to see that Finn and October are not so intimate now, but that he still has her back as a friend.

The whole birthing scene at the house with an attack. And then after with Von, intense!!! Poor guy.

*But the last chapter....so hard to get through.

Patiently waiting for the last book.

Sigh. This series has come a long way and I've been right there with it. I've been able to keep my emotions in check (sorta) but this book, this book really got me. I emotionally felt everything that the characters felt and needed to take a break at one point to pull myself together. I was not ready for the turns this book took, but let me tell you I've never so willingly handing over my heart to someone to watch it be put back together so beautifully. This is by far my favorite book in this series and I cannot wait until the next! If you have not read it yet then grab some tissue first and buy it, you will not regret it.

Emotions all over the place and was definitely not something I was expecting in the series. I couldn't put this book down as well. You have a gift with enthralling your readers to want to finish the book all in one go. Onto the next book....

I started this series before i realised all the books were yet to be released, have been waiting for ages to devour this one- totally worth the wait!! i spent the whole time wanting to read it as quickly as i could but at the same time not wanting it to end i was in tears most of the way through weather happy or sad ones. if you you like this genre i reccomend reading the whole series, its captivaiting from the off and you cant help but love the wonderful relm of terraway and the characters surrounding the omen. i really wish it hadnt ended lile this though, its going to be another agonizingly long wait for the final book!

I have enjoyed reading this collection of books immensely. The characters are great and easy to become involved with. The only downside is that I feel the books have become shorter as they have gone along. Makes me feel a little cheated.
