Toren Kerr is on a dangerous mission for the Scottish King to kill Stewart Hallington. The King feels he’s corrupt and needs to be replaced before their peace is interrupted. Torren travels undercover to England to participate in the Tournament of the North where the Warden of the Middle should be in attendance. What he doesn’t expect is literally run into a Juliette, only later to find out she daughter of the man he is sent to kill.
Torren fights his growing attraction for her, but Jules has decided he’s quite possibly the one knight she can love and marry. He tries to tell himself he isn't falling in love, but he can’t deny the feeling she invokes every time they are together.
Their story has several twists and turns as the story unfolds it captures the reader’s attention as Jules swears her father is innocent of crimes he’s been accused of and Torren is tormented by what he must do for his King. Can these two find a way to marry or will they be torn apart. Torren know there’s only one way to win back the woman who has stolen his heart and that’s to protect her innocent father before all is lost to him. A great story where Toren and Jules find their HEA.
