5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing book

I have to admit I was a little upset with Brianna throughout this book, I hate that she had any trouble atr all choosing between Gavin and Lucas! I mean! Gavin! Come on, their is no choice, only Gavin! Lucas is bad for her, I can feel it. I feel like he is the reason she is missing pieces of her Aura. Whatever happened in the dreamscape Bri and Lucas done was not good!
It takes awhile for Gavin to forgive our girl for not mentioning Lucas to him, which is understandable lol! Yea I'm totally team Gavin!

Brianna is having a hard time, she really is. A lot to take in and understand, a lot to cope with and alot to learn still. The fact that she is unmentionable #1 is a kinda serious thing and she is nowhere in her magic that should be!

Finally she gets her stuff together and starts to train to defend herself, but neither her or Gavin are prepared for how powerful Bri really is! She almost kills him, stealing his essence, his magic, not on purpose which is more frightening!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but Brianna is clueless

So far, I like the series. I'm just annoyed with how Brianna can't figure out the reason she started practicing dark magic. The answer is so clear. I really wish she would ask the right questions. For instance, if she's a witch, then dig deep to find out more about her parents and aunt who's her mom sister. Actually her mom's twin if I remembering correctly.

I recommend this book. It's great for teens. Their make out sessions can get a little steamy, but so far, no sex. Just heavy kissing.

3.0 out of 5 stars Worth reading, but needs a new editor

Obviously I enjoy this storyline or I would not have read this novel. This is definitely a great second novel, and I will read the third when it is released. I love the writing style as it really gives you a feel for the characters. That being said, the editing is awful. It seems like there was a rush to complete the second novel, and so the editing fell apart. The incorrect use of words and incorrect colloquialism drove me insane. There are also several changes of tense, which are simple errors to catch and correct, so I feel like the editing was not a priority. The bottom line is that the novel is worth reading because the author is talented, but hire a new editor please.

3.0 out of 5 stars haven't given up

Brianna, for a protagonist, can be very unlikable, but I try to give her the benefit of the doubt -- perhaps because everyone in her life does. She is practically the reincarnation of the witch Morgana, so that may be why she is so self centered and quick to giant emotional outbursts.

For those who are sensitive to grammatical errors this book has a good share, but it still understandable.

I like Brianna's supporting cast, so I am willing to try the free sample of book 3. I hope our lead starts to take control of her life, and stick to her choices.

2.0 out of 5 stars Someone needs to proofread before publishing.

The story is okay. Some seems really repetitive and it's obvious from early on who the bad boy is for her. But worst of all is the continuous grammatical error. It was like no one ever proofread the story and just relied on spellcheck. Maybe if grammar check was used as well there wouldn't be so many errors. All the grammatical errors almost make the story hard to read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great series

I am hooked on this series! Can't wait for the next book! Great story, strong characters, love it!
On the extreme downside.... There is a HUGE number of errors: spelling, grammar, punctuation, I don't need to keep going. I had to actually reconstruct sentences with the proper words and placement just to understand some of them. In at least half of the book there are 2 plus errors per page! It got extremely frustrating. But I kept going because the book is awesome! I would actually offer to help in proof reading and editing with this author just so I could read her books without being frustrated at the errors lol.
But for anyone looking for a great series, this is the one!!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is very easy to keep hoping things will turn out for the two in love. Then you can't help feeling bad for the one she didn't choose. Then when the book ends, you wonder, what does this mean. Loves to leave you hanging. I really want her choice to be the right one. Waiting for book 3 and waiting.

I thought the first book was better than the second one. At the beginning I was a little bored, but you need to read the part to understand the rest of the book. By the middle it started to get really good and so I enjoyed the rest of the book :) can't wait for the next one!

This is a good continuation from the first book, still a little teen/ fantasy/ romance so if your type of thing you should like it. Bri is trying to get to grips with being a powerful witch and has 2 boys in tow, one good and one bad, you follow her decision on which one to choose.
