5.0 out of 5 stars A Fun, Quick Halloween Read

This was a good time. A slice of life with enough realism to have me nodding my head in recognition of life's all-too-troublesome yet comfortably familiar tropes. The experiences of the protagonist will have you empathizing with him and rooting for him.

I was left wondering what would happen in the end, and I was happy to see where it went.

I would love to see a series of these, just short book after short book of this protagonist killing his neighbor in different ways, in different seasons, maybe a pumpkin spice kill your neighbor?

I'm ready :)

I like that I never know what I'm going to get when I pick up a Prunty title.

This one wasn't my favorite, by far, but I enjoyed it. It's almost the inverse of his other books. He always finds a balance between mundane and surreal that doesn't seem possible.

This one was different in that the situation was mundane, but the reactions were very surreal.

It was a satisfying little bit of satire and I'd recommend it if you don't mind some political commentary worked into your spooks.

This short story is hilarious!!!! The way the timeframe flipped from past to present with only a small break of lines between them was a little bit confusing. But that didn't take away from the story. A crazy neighbor driving even crazier neighbors crazy was so much fun.
I think anyone who has has that kind of neighbor before would appreciate this short.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great if you want a quick read to determine if you are a Prunty fan or not.

I love his work. The content isn't disappointing for Prunty fans, the story just seemed to be over way too soon. So my only complaint is I wanted it to be longer. I'll still be reading anything he writes for as long as he writes. Chuck Palahniuk and HP Lovecraft had a baby and named him Andersen Prunty, that's how genius this guy is.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hi-dilli-ho Neighbor-ino!

Kill Your Neighbor is a book you can relate to almost uncomfortably so. We've all had neighbors we've wanted to kill, and if you haven't that means YOU were the one your neighbors wanted to kill. This book is short and sweet, but drenched in the psychopathic darkness I appreciate of Prunty's style. Pick this one up and live out your desire to do awful things to your stupid neighbor through the story to keep yourself from giving into them.

5.0 out of 5 stars A thought we've all had.

We've all been in that situation, the one where everything is perfect except for the god awful neighbor. In fact, I am in that situation right now. This may not have been a great how-to guide, but it sure was enjoyable to read someone else acting on the thought.

Solid execution on a simple concept. A war between neighbors. A quick read that was enjoyable.

5.0 out of 5 stars I don't think this is lifestyle advice, but I could be wrong

I read this little book one day, and that night I had a really weird dream about my obnoxious neighbors. I feel like it would be incriminating to describe the dream. Check this out if you've ever had a terrible neighbor, or just like books with terrible characters.
