It's sad to see the end of Hellequin's story, but now we get to read the start of Nate's. And, I mean Nate as whole, new, powerful person. I can't wait to see just what he is capable of now that the blood curse marks are all gone. Of course, a lot is still wrong in the earth realm (and other realms), so I am sure much excitement is still to be had. The author did a great job of wrapping up this story, but still leaving so much left to be told.
For those readers who are wondering, this is not a standalone book. You will be hopelessly lost without the previous books. Read those first, you won't regret it. The books are available on Kindle Unlimited, fabulous deal - not like many of the abundant series offerings that are no more than a single book broken up.
These books remind me of the Iron Druid chronicles, with the level of detail and research put into mythology.
Do yourself a favor and pick these up, you'll love them.
