4.0 out of 5 stars I am all for suspense and sitting in the edge of my seat to find out what happens to my favorite characters next

First, I want to say that I really don't think "Septimus" should have been separated into to books - the length of Part two was on the short side. That being said...

In this part 2, the girls go back in time so that Kiera can try to get "past" Dom to get her pregnant....um...my first thought was...aren't you going to cause a change through history if you suddenly are in the past where you never were? Will it only change the supernatural realm or human history also?
It took awhile to realize what the title of this one means and then we hit a cliffhanger. I am all for suspense and sitting in the edge of my seat to find out what happens to my favorite characters next, but until sitting back and thinking about this addition to the saga, I had thought...where is this going??
Well, it seems Ms Hudson has her reasons for giving us this information at this time- or I am going to assume so. What was accomplished by this time travel and is it going to impact the present? Will there ever BE a wedding and HEA for this crew?

There seem to be a lot of GET ON WITH IT ALREADY reviews. And while some of the stories seem a little dragged out, I don't know if I am ready to see the end of Dominic, Lucius, Vincent , Pip and the gang - and yes, even Kiera. Sure. I want to see Kiera become even stronger as an individual and get complete control of her powers. I would love to see Kiera and Dominic married. And there are still a lot of opportunities and questions about other characters in the series. That's what happens in a saga. TV dramas can go on for years. Why should a novel series be only a set amount?
I, myself, look forward to see what is next in line for the gang.

I can only say that I am waiting with mixed emotions. This was suppose to be the last book of this series and man am I glad that is not. I get lost every time when I read the latest in this series. I get so engrossed in the story line that I get to the end and go NO! I am crossing my fingers that Mrs. Hudson gets half way through writing the last one and decides she just can't end the series. I am frustrated that we have to wait a few months for the final climax to this love story. I know there are those of you out there that are disappointed that this just keeps going, but man I wish it would never end. Looking forward to the spin off stories that will be written. Thank you Stephanie for taking me away on a fantasy I would love to be stuck right on the middle of!

5.0 out of 5 stars Where to begin...

Stephanie has managed to do it again! Given me so much without really giving me what I wanted. This book of course takes place where it left of, in the past (and still not pregnant) lol. As always Pip is a sight for sore eyes and so loveable. I appreciate the friendship that Pip brings to the story and one can never doubt her. The twist that came though geez I wasn't expecting that or ready for it, to be honest but it brings an element of surprise to the story. Sophia was an outright b***h in the past?!! She really needs love lol wink wink. That cliffhanger is one for the Gods however and I don't know how that will be explained. Only time will tell...I'll pray Stephanie gets back to it hoping for a Christmas drop or very close to Chrismas....please?

Another fun installment to a series that I've really enjoyed. I have to admit that I wasn't thrilled with book 6 as being pretty fluffy with not much happening to advance the story line but was fairly satisfied with book 7. All kinds of good stuff happens when all of the main female characters in the series go back in time to find Draven in Ancient Persia. As usual, Keira gets herself into lots of hot water where she has to use her wits to survive. I have to say, however that this book seems like it should have been part of book 6 and seemed pretty short for a stand alone. It seems like the story is just being dragged out. It's a good saga but time to step up to the plate and move things along. We're going to getbored

I'm a huge Hudson fan. Like if I lived in her country I would would most definitely have some fan girl moments. In case you didn't catch it before, I'm devoted. The story was good, but too short. I was hoping for some major plot movement with Kiera's story line, which we didn't really get. However, knowing Ms. Hudson's writing style she'll tie it all together. Hopefully she'll tie it all together soon. Anxiously waiting the next book.

I loved this book...and the one before it (and all the ones before this). But this is so annoying!! I just want to know the ending!!!!! Stephanie you are an AMAZING author and your attention to detail is meticulous, your story lines are great, your character descriptions are unparalleled. And I loved reading about how the character acted thousands of years ago.....

So I really love this series BUT... I cant help but feel a little cheated with the last few books. There is a great deal of descriptive detail that we all love and crave although not a lot of action AGAIN. The Keira & Draven love story has taken me on so many adventures and this one I was sure would be my favourite. However, once back in time nothing really happened. Except of course the usual hot chemistry between the couple, a few lol moments and a few (getting kinda boring) kiera 'life' attempts. Leaving me stating rather loudly 'why did I waste my money' much to the amusement of my hubby to be. I just hope beyond hope that something happens in the next book to better the plot. Its taken a book and a half from discovery of ' future god baby' to yep nothing but a rather deflating ending in which made most of the book pointless. Past Draven mustn't find out who she is or the plan wont work- oh :O now he knows! Shock! Its not great to rush a plot along but also not to supply fill in books to make money. I fear thats exactly what is happening here. Supply a tease then dont follow through until 2 books later. Shame most authors do this after a bit of success. Please dont. I really dont want to give up on this series.

2.0 out of 5 stars She's dragging it out

Ah this was annoying. I was really looking forward to this book but it barely helped the storyline along. It was full of description and the authors views on morality but all of the action happens in the last 3 chapters. I feel like the author could have cut back on the description and added more of a storyline because I love the Afterlife saga but this felt like a stopgap for another book to be released; one that wouldn't be necessary if the author just got to the point.

I waited long to read this part, it is good but not as good as the other once before. I am not complaining it's still a good read only I had a feeling it was less thrilling. Sure there is the betrayal of Ranka that I saw coming it would have been to perfect that she was loyal, because of Pip and her reaction to her. I believe that it will end not well for little Kiera girl in the next book, cos she had changed the future for Lucius as she gave him her blood, or well it can be a good thing, but I guess we will have to wait lol
I really love Luc I hope he will get his own story ;)

I would have loved to find out more between Vincent and Ari, they still have not developed there relationship somehow and what happened to Sophia? ( both of them) as well got a feeling they stay to long in the past.....and now we have to wait again till next year....what a shame.... but thanks Stephanie you will keep us on a short leash then everyone can't wait to read your next instalment :)

2.0 out of 5 stars Really Disappointing!

Held off reading this book as I was really disappointed with part 1 and the last couple of books before....Turns out I was correct to do so. Felt that the book was boring and full of unnecessary ramblings about emotions etc, so much so that I scan read a huge part of the book. I will read the final instalment to finish the saga (which I absolutely loved for the first 3 books) but I don't think that I will read any of the spin off series unless you can recreate some of that magic that was there in the beginning.

Sorry Stephanie, this series had so much potential but it has definitely lost its way for me! Wont be recommending it to anyone else to read :(. I would much rather wait longer for a really great story instead of having these not so great ones faster.

Oh Keira is now one badass woman not to be messed with. Yes she did finally she tapped into her full power and man was she bad.
Keira goes way back in time to her love to try and make sure she gets pregnant. You know she needs to save the world. Has a prophecy to fulfill.
All the characters we love but my mr Draven is somewhat harsh back in old times. Still a sensational addition to series.
