This is just a great book!! The chemistry, the connection, the angst....all just great. I love romances like this, where the connection between the characters is almost palpable, like this is a romance you would love to be on the sidelines watching. Watching them find their way was a great experience. Just a great book, glad I ran across it.
I was hooked by the description of the story when I came across this book and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint. I couldn't read this book fast enough and when finished I waited a couple of day read a few other books but came back and read this one again. I read it first from my Kindle unlimited plan and enjoyed it so much I bought it. This author grabs a hold of you and keeps you reading, then when your done you want more. Brava Ms. Spencer hope you continue to write, and do so quickly as I want more.
This is a story about meeting someone who inexplicably gets under your skin and stays there. The writing is quite good, the storyline is interesting, and there’s good character development. It is a novella, which may be why there is not as much detail and background information as I would like.
One thing I really liked about this book, was the attitude of the main character. So much snark! This book grabbed my attention from the first few pages. I really enjoyed it.
I'm not sure why I decided to read this book but i am so glad that I did. Even though that it's so short it was really worth it, it was a bit funny at times, with a nice amount of angst and so sweet at the end. Lovely story, do yourself a favor and give it a go.

I read romances every day. Elle, I hope you are a prolific writer, because I want to read and love your people. (Just cause they are fictional, does not mean they are not real, and not friends of mine, because they are people I care about, and cry with, and laugh with.) Mia and Samantha, Lacy and Quinn are dear to me and I want to know that their love will always be there for each other.

Oh this book is tremendous. I never read short stories...ever! Having read Casting Lacey by this gifted author and loving it, I just had to read this little gem. I adored the characters and the storyline and would have loved it to have been a longer read, but the quality definitely made up for quantityof this book! This author after just reading two of her books is now in my top three favourites list. Buy and enjoy.
4.0 out of 5 starsHmmmmm...I'm not entirely sure...

Overall, I liked this, although there were certainly elements I had trouble with: I wasn't entirely convinced by Sam's 'conversion'; I could see a world of trouble still to come with Gabe (and what about his wife?); Sam's mum's turnaround is all a bit unbelievable and Mia was far too forgiving of Sam's repeated tactic of turning tail and running. But it's shortish romantic lesfic and it all turns out sweetly in the end (surely you don't doubt that, do you?) so I'll forgive it a lot...
I read Elle’s second book, Casting Casey, first and thought she must have peaked with that one. I was wrong, this is an amazing book and I loved every word. The woman is obviously a hopeless romantic, and luckily (for me), so am I. Can’t wait for the next book!

I read this book in one sitting, even though it was 2.30 in the morning when I finished it! I then reread it the next afternoon and loved it all over again! Love the relationship between Sam and Mia. As with Casting Lacey I didn’t want their story to end.

Lesfic romance about mature adults is becoming my favourite genre. OK, this has its fair share of angst, but is not overdone. I enjoyed the charactisation, found the people interesting, so much that I read the complete book in one session.
